The director will respond to and initiate inquiries for the Symphony Enterprise Solutions (SES) portfolio, including Information Management and Business Analytics, Outsourced Product Development, and Enterprise Mobility portfolio of services. Unlike core Symphony business, this Director will focus on the non-ISV segment across industry-verticals – Banking & Financial Services, Consumer Products, Retail, Industrials, and Energy. The Sales Director will identify appropriate “prospects" for our SES offerings through marketing campaigns, cold calls, and/or introductory e-mails. This Sales professional will then qualify leads with detailed follow up developing potential prospects and turning them into opportunities by educating them on the Symphony Enterprise Solutions Suite and establishing appointments with Enterprise customer executives with qualified, interested prospects. Ideally located in a major metro area (e.g., NY metro, Dallas, Bay Area, or Atlanta), the Client Director will be responsible for lead generation, prospecting activities, customer engagement, through closures; and will work closely with the Enterprise SBU for Pre- Sales and Global Solutions & Support functions; and will report into the Sales Leader for Enterprise Solutions. Responsibilities : Build qualified opportunities to drive sales growth and revenue. Identify new sales opportunities and be able to articulately deliver Symphony’s value proposition to VP and ‘C’ level. Comfortable selling into complex sales cycles. Generate qualified sales opportunities for enterprise accounts. Take on additional projects to improve team efficiency. Follow-up via email and phone with prospects & customers to ensure questions are answered and sales opportunities are identified. Working with Marketing and Account Manager(s), direct strategic industry research utilizing various resources (internet, publications, networking, referrals, etc.). Brainstorm creative ways to find potential clients. Meet quarterly MBOs and be accountable for results.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Business or Engineering. MBA preferred. Academic qualifications may be waived for candidates with exceptional track record.

• Sales and/or consulting experience, preferably, in information management & analytics, mobility and managed services.

• Experience in selling to business leaders across functional areas and to CxO-levels

• Must have experience selling enterprise software and/or consulting services aroun ERP, CRM, SCM, Analytics and/or custom BI applications

• Strong written & verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment.

• Ability to define project and work independently and work as part of a Team.

• 10+ years of experience in Client Services, preferably, in a Sales-related role.

• Proven track record of carrying and attaining $5-10+ million annual quota; meet set quarterly bookings (ACV/TCV) and revenue goals as an individual contributor and/or with a Sales & Account Management team.

• Passion for Sales, long-term relationship development and management. Experience in managing large “Fortune 1000” Accounts (such as General Electric, Citigroup, Pfizer, AT&T)

• Strong sales process management skills and value selling expertise
