This may cause AOG situation. As per the AMM, if time is not sufficient to meet cure requirements, it is permitted to postpone the application of the aerodynamic sealant. Aerodynamic sealant must be applied within 14 days (no matter the number of flights). Please contact Airbus Customer Services to request for a chargeable TA to allow for more than 14 days with no sealant installed. Review on-going to add missing sealant around the base of the P2/T2 probe to the allowable damage part of the Structural Repair Manual for a time limited fly-on.

Description

A320F V2500 - Fly-on with eng P2T2 Probe Sealant MissingP2T2 probe sealant is missing (at the interface with the intake inner barrel)

Solution

Sealant application requires 10 hour cure time as per AMM 73-22-11-400-010-A. This may cause AOG situation.

As per the AMM, if time is not sufficient to meet cure requirements, it is permitted to postpone the application of the aerodynamic sealant. Aerodynamic sealant must be applied within 14 days (no matter the number of flights).
