The Facts

• We will need 1200 new engineers in Alabama each year for the next 10 years.

• There are 7 colleges of engineering in Alabama.

The Reality

• Not every student will become an engineer. However, those in the Physics class in high school are our potential.

• We still need skilled workers. If you teach courses other than college prep physics, those kids need the same experiences with design challenges, team work and problem solving
