URBAS plant is specifically designed for energy recyclingof low-quality, damp and coarse-grained biomass fuelswhich typically occur in sawmills, wood processing ope-rations or from forestry thinning.

The design and build of high quality plant for the sustai-nable efficient utilisation of biomass fuels based on long-term economic and ecological criteria – that’s where thedomain of URBAS is.

Highly qualified dedicated staff who are trained in the company's own internaltraining workshops, as well as the latest manufacturing and testing proceduresguarantee the quality of URBAS plant. URBAS continuously develops new innova-tive energy systems and components in the company’s own "Energy ResearchCentre" in order to expand its know-how in the field of biomass technology andto maintain its technological leadership.

Large-scale manufacturing facilities enable URBAS to prefabricate and delivercompleted pieces of equipment with unit weights up to 150 tons.The company can also handle logistically challenging projects in a flexible waywith its own special heavy loading equipment and its own rail connection.So far, URBAS has installed more than 1,000 plant, which prove their worth in dailyoperation – the best competence has been acquired over decades..
