• Distracted Driving increases risk to yourself and others
• NHTSA survey from 2011 estimated 660,000 drivers using cell phones or manipulating electronic devices while driving
• Over 3,400 people were killed and 391,000 injured as a result of distracted drivers
• Recommend to:
– Enable your phone’s “Do Not Disturb While Driving” mode
– Keep 4 seconds of distance ahead of you between cars

Upstream Rebates
• CMA trying out for Water Heaters only
• Distributors are incentivized to stock and market energy efficient products
• Marketing program to allow more customers access to rebates
• Downsides: exact rebate value not transparent to customers (CMA is working on a solution that is planned to be enacted June 1st including customer portion on distributor sales invoices), high administrative processing costs, greater likelihood of “free-ridership”
