WHY ANEMERSON KNIFE?I am a rm believer that we are the creators of our own destiny, thateverything that happens to us is a result of our own doing, our own ef-forts, and our own decisions, regardless of whether they are good or bad.

And in believing so, I also have to shoulder the full responsibility for eve-

rything that happens in my life. And I do so gladly because I never getthe chance to blame anything on anyone or anything but myself. Thisphilosophy has not only made me a better man but it has allowed meto create good things to happen for myself and my family. I carry thesame philosophy into my businesses. And it seems to work just as wellin that regard too. Wonderful things have happened to Emerson Knivesover the past several years and there is still more to come. This year Iam introducing three new designs, something I havent done in years,the ETAK, the Bulldog, and the Patriot. All very different designs andall great knives in their own right. I am especially proud of the ETAK inregard to being the rst of a new breed of Tactical Assault Knives thatare born and bred for Combat and Hard Use. In that respect I regard itas one of my nest designs, ever. The Bulldog is a tough, street ght-er just begging to be pushed to its limits and the Patriot is screaming

out to be a legacy knife with a strong connection to our founding father,George Washington that no other knife can claim. I believe that this year,2014, will be the biggest year in the history of Emerson Knives and Iwant to thank everyone, including all of you, our own loyal customers,no, our friends, for making all of this possible. the Emerson Buldog. This rugged little S.O.B.

is all of those things with a razors edge. Actu-ally this knife is not all that little. Its about

the same size as a CQC-7. The funny thing is

that this knife is the knife that almost wasnt.Theres a story behind that. Ask me sometime

and Ill tell you. This knife was built solely

on the decision of public demand. Anyway,I think it was the right decision to make it

because after all, it was what you wanted.

The more that I handle this knife, the more I mthinking this is one of my best designs. Just like a

chopped Harley, this knife is low slung and ready to

roar. It feels like youve just dropped the clutch andits trying to jump out of your hand. And just like a

Harley, youve got to have a Rock n Roll, Outlaws

soul to carry a Roadhouse. If a chopper could be aknife it would be the Roadhouse. This is a bad to the

bone ghter with a Rebels soul and a Rock n Roll

attitude that cannot be tamed. Pick it up and you canjust about smell the Whiskey. This knife is destined

to be an Emerson classic.

You can now see clones of this design inmany other knife companies catalogs and with good reason. The SARK is just about the best rescue knife ever developed.Its safe, strong, and its an Emerson. As the knife gained notoriety, Police departments began requesting that we pro-vide the design with a point rather than the safety tip for patrol ofcers. As a result there is both the original SARK andthe Police SARK (P-SARK). In both congurations, it is a wonderful rescue tool and has been used successfully in many,many rescue and life saving operations.
