How To Create Your Book Outline• 1. Determine WHAT the core/primary message of your book will

be. – What are you wanting to communicate?– What do you want people to know/think/believe?– What is it that sets you apart?– What makes you Unique?

• 2. Decide WHO your Market will be– Who will most likely purchase your book?– Who will you give it to?– Whom do you want to Attract?

• 3. Write a Topic at the Top of Each Slide• 4. Complete that slide with supporting content in bullet point

format. This is what you will use to Speak-to-Write your book.

WHAT is Your Central Message?

Remember to keep your audience’s needs central to what you want to say. They are asking one question: “What’s In It For Me?”

Answer this in terms of Benefits they receive, not just Features you offer.

Answer: WHY should they read this book? WHAT will they gain? HOW will it make their life better?
