Values:
Main values protected by your core belief reflec-
ting your self identity, culture
and priorities.
Vision: Defines where and
What you wants to be in the future. It reflects
your optimistic view of your future.
The process of integrating life, dreams and aspiration with Core Belief, Values and casting them concretely into a Vision and Mission Statement
Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so shall you become. Your Vision is the promise of what you shall one day be; your Ideal is the prophecy of what
you shall at last unveil. The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in
the acorn; the bird waits in the egg; and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs.
Dreams are the seedlings of realities. James Allen
PERSONAL VISION CASTING PROCESS
What is Personal Vision
A true vision must provide a clear image of a desirable future, one which represents an achievable, challenging and worthwhile long-range target toward which you can direct yur efforts and energies."
The ability to receive a vision from God, to develop a plan for your life to see that vision come about and to guide or serve as reference for you through necessary change so that the vision becomes a reality is crucial to your effective living.
A personal vision statement expresses your understanding of God's call for your life – focusing on who you are and what you do.
What does it do for us
* focuses energy for greater effectiveness, * establishes meaning for today, * gives hope for the future, * brings unity to the family, or team and * raises commitment level from each.

The ability to receive a vision from God, and to develop a strategy and plan to see that vision come about and to guide or serve as reference to those around you through necessary change so that the vision becomes a reality is crucial to effective managing your life.
Who are you?
Self as the starting point Discovering your life purpose means focusing on the essence of who you are. Our life‘s purpose becomes an anchor for all we do and strive for.
Six process questions to create a long term plan for your life.
1. Who are you? 2. Where do you want to go? 3. What do you want to accomplish?4. Where are you now?5. What are the means to get there?6. What are the measure of your progress?

The Vision that you glorify in your mind, the Ideal that you enthrone in your heart—this you will build your life by, this you will become.

MISSION OR PURPOSE
A precise description of what an organization does.It should describe the business or ministry the organization is in.It is a definition of “why” the organization exists currently. Each member of an organization should be able to verbally express this mission.
Cherish your visions; cherish your ideals; cherish the music that stirs in your heart, the beauty that forms in your mind, the loveliness that drapes your purest thoughts, for out of them will grow all delightful conditions, all, heavenly environment; of these, if you but remain true to them, your world will at last be built.

LIFE PURPOSE EXERCISERIGHT NOW, SPEND FIVE MINUTES DRAFTING A ONE SENTENCE STATEMENT OF YOUR LIFE WITH THESE QUESTIONS.• WHAT AM I STRIVING FOR?• WHAT IS THE AIM OR GOAL OF MY LIFE?• WHAT IS THE MAIN RESULT I WANT IN MY LIFE?• WHAT AM I DETERMINED OR RESOLVED TO ACHIEVE WITH MY LIFE?
WHERE AM I NOW?THE SECOND PART OF THE PERSONAL VISIONING PROCESS IS TO IDENTIFY WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW AND THIS MEANS TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT YOURSELF. BE READY TO RECREATE YOURSELF AND YOUR FUTURE THROUGH SETTING GOALS AND BEING ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEM.
LET GO OF THE PAST, BUT LEARN FROM IT: YOU CAN FOCUS ON WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED FROM YOUR PAST, WITHOUT GETTING CAUGHT UP IN REPEATING YOUR MISTAKES. YOU CAN DISCOVER A WAY TO MOVE FORWARD WITHOUT FEELING ROTTEN ABOUT THE PAST. YOU CAN CHANGE THE WAY THINGS ARE WITHOUT HAVING TO BE UPSET ABOUT THE WAY THINGS HAVE BEEN. THIS MEANS YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE YOU CAN CHANGE—YOU CAN ENGAGE IN NEW WAYS OF BEING AND DOING.
EXPLORE YOUR READINESS TO CHANGE AND THREATS TO CHANGE :KNOWING YOUR LEVEL OF READINESS FOR CHANGE IS KEY IN MOVING FORWARD WITH ANY PLAN. THERE ARE MANY THEORIES OF READINESS FOR CHANGE AND EVEN SURVEYS TO ASSESS READINESS. IN GENERAL YOU CAN BE DISINTERESTED, DELIBERATING, DESIGNING, DOING AND THEN DEFENDING THE CHANGE.
OPTIONAL: Video of Change Dynamics
YOU MUST ALSO IDENTIFY KEY THREATS THAT BLOCK YOU FROM ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS. TWO OF THESE ARE ENERGY DRAINERS, WHICH SUCK THE VITALITY OUT OF YOUR DAYS AND UNMET, OR SOMETIMES UNACKNOWLEDGED NEEDS ENERGY DRAINERS: THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF ENERGY DRAINERS-GNATS AND SUFFERINGS− THE LITTLE ANNOYANCES OR GNATS OF YOUR LIFE ARE THE SMALL THINGS YOU BRUSH OFF OR IGNORE, BUT ARE THE THINGS THAT ACCUMULATE TO EXTRACT YOUR ENERGY. THESE ARE THINGS LIKE MESSY CLOSETS THAT KEEP YOU FROM FINDING THINGS, OR AN UNFINISHED PROJECT. THE ACCUMULATION OF THESE LITTLE THINGS CAN BECOME MASSIVE ENERGY DRAINERS.
BEGIN TO EXPLORE AND IDENTIFY YOUR UNMET NEEDS SO THAT YOU CAN DESIGN GOALS AROUND GETTING THOSE NEEDS MET AND IN GENERAL, BE MORE SUCCESSFUL IN ACCOMPLISHING YOUR GOALS.
WRITE OUT YOUR PLAN: THERE’S A SAYING: “A GOAL CLEARLY DEFINED IS A GOAL HALFWAY ACHIEVED.” WRITING IS A TOOL FOR GAINING PRECISION. WRITING ALSO HELPS US REMEMBER OUR PLANS AND COMMUNICATE THEM TO OTHERS.
FIRST YOU WILL WRITE SOME 3 TO 5 YEAR GOALS (MID-POINT GOALS) FOR EACH OF YOUR LONG TERM GOALS THAT WILL MOVE YOU TOWARD THE FUTURE LONG TERM GOALS. WHEN MOST PEOPLE PLAN, THEY START AT THE PRESENT AND PROJECT FORWARD IN TIME. IN PLANNING STRATEGICALLY, YOU START AT THE FUTURE AND WORK BACKWARD IN TIME, TOWARD THE PRESENT. FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOUR LONG TERM GOAL IS TO TRAVEL AT LEAST FOUR TIMES A YEAR, YOUR 3 TO 5 YEAR GOAL MAY BE TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TWO TIMES PER YEAR. IF YOUR LONG TERM GOAL IS WORKING IN A CAREER THAT IS FULFILLING, THEN YOUR 3 TO 5 YEAR GOAL MAY BE TO START A BUSINESS THAT YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT.
What is core valuesA company’s culture is its basic personality, the essence of how its people interact and work. Culture is the self-sustaining pattern of behavior that determines how things are done. Made of instinctive, repetitive habits and emotional responses, culture can’t be copied or easily pinned down. Corporate cultures are constantly self-renewing and slowly evolving: What people feel, think, and believe is reflected and shaped by the way they go about their business. You can plaster the walls with large banners proclaiming new values, but people will go about their days, right beneath those signs, continuing with the habits that are familiar and comfortable. But this inherent complexity shouldn’t deter leaders from trying to use culture as a lever. Some practitioners of Vision Casting starts with Core Values before going to defining their Vision and Mission Statement
Core Values. The best organizations develop core values that impact their culture, brand, and business strategies — making them quite unique. So we took an inside look at the core values of highly-engaged and successful companies to learn what makes them tick, what they believe and how they operate and do business. Here are we have picked as examples of core values from 15 high-performance companies–across various industries–that aim to deliver more than profit with a values-based business approach:
Recommend that we also set a personal beliefs and core values using the same process and principles.

Guidelines in Preparing Your Core Belief , Mission and Values StatementSuggested Guidelines Writing Your Core beliefs, Values and Mission and Vision Statement The best vision statements for result areas describe outcomes that are five to ten years away, although some look even further out. For projects and goals, the vision statement should focus on the desired outcome of the project/goal at its completion date. Describe Your Statement in the Present TenseDescribe your vision statement in present tense as if you were reporting what you actually see, hear, think and feel after your ideal outcome wasrealized.
Make your Statement EmotionalYour vision statement should describe how you will feel when the outcome is realized. Including an emotional payoff in your vision statement infuses it with passion and will make it even more compelling, inspiring, and energizing. Add Sensory Details to Your Vision StatementThe more sensory details you can provide, the more powerful your statement becomes. Describe the scenes, colors, sounds, and shapes.Describe who is there and what everyone is doing. These sensory details will help you build a more complete and powerful mental image of yourideal outcome.
Summarize Your Statements in a Powerful PhraseIf possible, try to summarize your vision using a powerful phrase in the first paragraph of your vision statement. Capturing the essence of your vision using a simple memorable phrase can greatly enhance the effectiveness of your vision statement. This phrase will serve as a trigger to the rest of the vision in the mind of everyone that reads it. Vision statements can be much longer than mission statements. The purpose is to create a mental picture charged with emotion that can serve to energize and inspire you and your team. Take as much space as you need to accomplish this goal.
Vision must be cultivated, defined and casted.
observe carefully
implement cautiously
share openly
incubate carefully
verbalize clearly
