(black, 6-pole connector) Please note: The 2018- Panigale V4 as shipped from the factory requires the ESE-D03 v2 model. In April, 2019 Ducati has released a new ECU firmware for this bike and it requires the exhaust valve cables adjusted too. For this reason, the ECU no longer accepts the cable position values indicated by the ESE-D03 v2. After the ECU firmware update, the ESE-D03 v3 model is required. We strongly recommend for Panigale owners to order and keep BOTH ESE versions. It's a small cost and this is the only way to ensure they are covered no matter of the ECU firmware they have. There's a chance that a new ECU firmware, coming out later will require the ESE-D03 v2 again. Please be aware that the FI error light on this bike works with a delay. It takes several run cycles to show up (in case of a problem) and it takes several run cycles to clear (when the problem is no longer active). Our FI Cleaner Tool for Ducati (part no.: FIC-D01) is useful to clear the FI error light as soon as there's no active fault in the system. It helps to decide which ESE model to use on the bike.
