Electric motorsSpecial asynchronous electric motors are developed for pitch and yaw drive in wind turbines. Long experience in electric motors production made this product extremly reliable in harsh enviroment and operational conditions. In compliance with all international mechanical and electrical standards, KONČAR-MES electric motors are optimal solution. Single, dual and triple polarity is available granting further flexibility in choice and our complete series is suitable for inverter duty.

Cooling fansFans for cooling series VAAZ 315-1600 which are used in wind turbines for cooling of frequency inverter, tower and nacelle are part of our series of axial fans for cooling and air conditioning.

Construction features:• 3 up tu 5 reduction stages (all of them with a planetary de-

sign), depending upon the total required reduction ratio. • Each stage may have from 3 up to 4 planets (to increase the

deliverable torque)• The gears are made of alloyed steel and are heat treated

(case hardening for suns & planets, induction hardening or nitriding for internal toothed rings)

• The planets are supported by roller bearings or full rollers track bearings to obtain an high efficiency during the phases of starting and running

• The output housing is made of nodular cast iron and designed to hold the heavy loads generated during the machine’s operation
