Overview of Santa Clara County Election Night Reporting The County of Santa Clara Registrar of Voters’ Office uses an online tool called Election Night Reporting (ENR) to display election results on a client-server web site. The web site provides visitors with a graphical view of in-depth county election results. You are presented with a breakdown of votes received for a candidate by contest and total votes. Maps illustrate the precincts reporting, voter turnout, and results by precinct. A reporting area provides downloadable reports and custom filtering of results. How do I access Election Night Reporting?

Election Night Reporting can be accessed at the County of Santa Clara Election Night Reporting web site: http://results.enr.clarityelections.com/CA/Santa_Clara/43641/index.html. When and how often will the results be updated?

Once the precinct polling locations have closed, the ballots are returned to the Registrar of Voters’ Office where they will be counted. The county will periodically upload election results, and then begins reporting results to the public via the ENR tool. Updates occur throughout the night until all precincts have reported. We will have a timer displayed to indicate when the next update occurs. How do I navigate Election Night Reporting?

The following pages will walk you through how to navigate the ENR tool. We will review the following areas: Home Page Synopsis Area Summary tab Precincts Reporting tab Voter Turnout tab Reports tab
