In this session participants will be introduced to the Foxwood As-sociates Leadership Competency Model. They will be provided
with the tools to employ an effective leadership framework withintheir organization and will develop an understanding of leadershipas a force multiplier.
Learning Objectives: Understand the definition of leadership.

The Leadership Framework

Everything Leadership is a hands-on, interactive leadership development program designed specifically
for today’s business leaders. Comprised of six four-hour modules, this program will provide both existing
and emerging leaders with the solid leadership foundation required to lead in today’s business climate.The framework for this program is the Foxwood Associates Leadership Competency Model which iden-
tifies and groups specific skill sets and behaviors used and exhibited by effective leaders.
The six modules are: The Leadership Framework, Tactical Leadership, Operational Leadership, LeadershipDevelopment, Organizational Leadership, and Strategic Leadership.
Spring 2011 Program Syllabus2nd Session
Tactical leadership focuses on the skills necessary for successfulfirst-line leadership or direct supervision. There is an emphasis
on influence, power, and effective communication, and the one-on-one relationship. Learning Objectives: Learn the cascading positive impact to business of effectively
leading self. Understand influence, power and the critical nature of the
one-on-one relationship . Learn methods of communicating for impact.
