    "ntro#uction

A multidisciplinary team develops the DMR’s Posture School, which has duration of 4 days and is a practical and theoretical intervention with emphasis on the basic care of prevention and reduction of the episodes of back pain !he physical therapist promotes actions that cover the prevention, thedevelopment and the control of the functional health"t was used #oniometric measures of the hip, knee and ankle $oint, which show the shortenin# of the

    posterior muscle chain

$%&ective!he aim of this study was to %uantitatively analy&e and compare the #oniometric parameters usedon the physical evaluation of the Posture School

    Metho#ology

''' patients were evaluated in the be#innin# of the pro#ram, and a#ain after ( months After ')months of treatment conclusion, 44 patients were evaluated a#ain "t was used the an#les of the hip, knee and ankle $oint, durin# anterior trunk fle*ion!he pro#ram was composed by+ theoretical and practical classes with duration of - minutes, durin# which it was showed the basic ideas of the spine, er#onomics, postural orientation and bodyconscience Also, a -.minute practical class was developed, usin# techni%ues of body awareness, looseness, self.stretchin# and muscle stren#thenin# "n the last class, which lasts (- minutes, theschool material is distributed and the remainin# doubts are answered

esults''' patients were evaluated and before and after ( months /rom this total, 44 patients returned for a follow.up evaluation after ') months

    After ( months, the results obtained showed a chan#e on the hip an#le from ''0,(1 23'(,'' to''',4( 23 '',1( 5 the ankle $oint showed a chan#e from '-0,() 236,-( to '--,44 2 3 7,478n the 46 patients evaluated after ') months it was observed a chan#e on the mean an#le of the hip

    $oint from ''-,70 23 '(,(' to '-7,(( 23 '-,70 5 on the ankle, the chan#e was from '-1,(0 237,14 to '--,4( 23 1,0( !here was no e*pressive chan#e on the mean an#le of the knee $oint, after ( and ') months

Conclusion"n this analysis we concluded that the physiotherapeutic pro#ram of the Posture School showedeffectiveness over the #ain of ran#e of the hip and ankle $oint 9esides that, the chan#es after ')months were more e*pressive than those observed after ( months, what leads to the conclusion thatthe orientations #iven to the patients were done durin# the ') months
