The EF Research Network
- EF and the University of Cambridge’s Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics have established a joint research unit to investigate accelerated language learning.
- EF and Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education are investigating second-language acquisition in secondary students.
- EF and Peking University’s School of Foreign Languages have a research program to examine how to advance the studies of English.

- The EF Global Classroom Foundation is an umbrella for EF’s charitable activities, which have included disaster relief in the U.S., China, Haiti, Indonesia, and Japan, as well as providing funding for better educational opportunities to the underprivileged.
- Every year, the Hult family donates 1 million USD, the award for the Hult Prize—the world’s largest graduate student competition helping to solve the globe’s toughest social challenges.
- The Hult family is one of the founding members of the Mentor Foundation, supporting research and initiatives in drug prevention.
- The EF-UNAOC Young Leader Summit is an annual conference in New York. Outstanding young talents who qualify get a full scholarship to attend this amazing event during a week in August. Delegates from 80 countries participated 2014.
