Abu Qatadah related that the Prophet said:

Rasulullah (peace be upon him) addressed Bilaal (RA) saying “Spend O Bilal, and don’t ever have any fear of any decrease from the Master of the arsh.”

(In reference to the slaves of Allah) “who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly but keep the golden mean between the two (extremes) (25:67)

“The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is as the likeness of a grain that sprouts seven spikes. In every spike there are 100 grains and Allah multiplies for whom He will” (Quran 2:261).

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

‐ Al‐Tirmidhi, Hadith 589
