• Over the years teaching and the tools teacher use have been improving. At one point in time the only thing teachers had to work with was text books and chalk boards. Well in today's world there is so much more for teachers to use. Technology has increased the means of education and it has helped improve the way we teach. The tools that teachers use have improved and it has been easier for our educators to fill the students brains with knowledge and prepare them for their future.

•Smart boards have replaced the traditional chalk boards in many classrooms•They provide ways to show anything that can be brought up on a computer.•There are many lesson plans you can use with smart boards and they are very beneficial when it comes to engaged learning and getting students involved.

• It would be nice to have one of these in every classroom but with the economy funding becomes a problem for things like the smart boards.

• A Tablet PC is a portable computing device which looks much like a detached screen from a conventional notebook computer, or perhaps a hand-held computer that's been scaled up.

• The tablet pc features a full size color screen and an internal hard drive.

• Can be connected with a video projector and easier to use with public presentations in the

• Classroom• Having a tablet PC would be great emerging technology for

schools to have but you would have to have the money to have some of these and that could serve a problem

• Funding issues could be a problem but it could work to have A select supply and everyone in the school use them.

• Podcasting has many benefits when you use

them in a classroom.• Students are able to create a product to share

with a potential world wide audience.• It is a very efficient thing that could be showing

up in our schools more as the years keep coming.

• The only thing that serves as a problem is the funding for all of the kids to have one or even for all of the classrooms to have them.

• A wiki is a website that lets the user create and edit pages• The difference from this and other web based pages is

any one can edit it at any time.• The following are some ways that the wiki can be used

in a classroom setting… a class or school communication site, collaborative class site, assignments/ portfolios and process writing archive.

• These are all great ideas that could help promote tech-integration in a class and help promote collaboration as a classroom.

• Wikis would be a great thing to start using more and more in our classrooms

• It does not cost money to use and will be very beneficial to the students that get to use them.
