Dear St. Raphael Middle School Parents, Last year, to aid our students with executive functioning skills and organization, all St. Raphael Middle School Teachers began posting homework online daily using the website/app Edmodo. Each grade has its own “Student Planner” page on which one homeroom teacher will post the daily homework for that grade level. The daily posts will contain all assignments for all subjects in that grade level plus occasional reminders on upcoming quizzes and tests. Students already have access to this group on Edmodo, and parents are encouraged to create a Parent Account so that they can also view their student’s homework posts. On the back of this sheet, please find instructions on how to create an Edmodo Parent Account and access your student’s Student Planner group. Students have a unique parent code that will give their parent access to their Student Planner Group, and your student can provide the parent code for you. Please remember that the Edmodo Student Planner group is supplementary to students writing in their homework planner. It is simply a tool for students and parents to view homework posts by teachers and not for students/parents to communicate with teachers. Email is still the best way for parents/students to reach teachers with questions or concerns.
