Tonnara Camping is situated in the South-West side of Sant’Antioco, charming and largest island of Sardinia. Together with the island of San Pietro,

it forms the southern Sardinian archipelago.The campsite is 12 kilometres (7 miles) away from

the town and can be easily reached by car toward an asphalted road.

It covers an area of 100.000 sq. metres and faces directly a natural inlet called “Calasapone”, a small

sandy beach with smooth reefs easy to walk on.The campsite offers to the camping guests

completely renovated hot showers in four separate units, bungalows with 1 or 2 rooms and mobile homes provided with kitchen, bathroom with hot

shower, veranda and parking place. Guests entertainment will be assured by several

facilities: Restaurant-Pizzeria-Bar, swimmingpool, children’s playground,

tennis, sports ground, table tennis, bowls, private parking place.

The Island of Sant’Antioco can be reached by car toward a bridge that links up the main island of

Sardinia. Being one of the most ancient and important of the Punic-Roman settlements, it has a

rich archaeological past and history.

Il Tonnara Camping è situato a Sud-Ovest di Sant’Antioco, incantevole isola appartenente

all’arcipelago meridionale sardo e terza isola d’Italia per dimensione.

Il camping dista 12 km dal centro abitato ed è raggiungibile per mezzo di strada asfaltata.

Esso sorge su una superficie di 100.000 mq. circa, direttamente sul mare, in una naturale insenatura

denominata “Calasapone”, con spiaggia e scogliera di natura liscia e praticabilissima.

È dotato di servizi modernissimi, con docce calde distribuite in 4 gruppi, nonché di bungalow

monolocali o bilocali in muratura e case mobili con angolo cucina, bagno completo di doccia

calda, veranda e posto auto.Il camping mette inoltre a disposizione dei suoi graditi ospiti: ristorante-pizzeria, bar, market,

piscina, parco giochi, tennis, pallavolo, ping-pong, bocce,

parcheggio riservato alle autovetture.L’isola di Sant’Antioco è raggiungibile

in automobile per mezzo di un ponte che lo collega alla terra madre. Essendo una delle più antiche ed importanti colonie Punico-Romane, è ricca di

archeologia e storia.

Der Campingplatz ist 12 Km von der Stadt entfernt und leicht erreichbar über eine Asphaltstrasse.

Das Gelände hat eine Oberfläche von 100.000 m2 und liegt direkt am Meer, in der Bucht von

“Calasapone” mit einem bezaubernden Sandstrand und glatten Felsen die daher leicht zu begehen sind.

Camping Tonnara bietet ihren Campinggästen komplett renovierte Sanitäranlagen mit

Warmwasser-Duschen, gemauerte Bungalow mit 1 oder 2 Zimmer und Mobilheime mit Kochnische,

Badezimmer mit Warmwasser-Dusche, Veranda und eigenem Parkplatz. Ausserdem der Campingplatz

stellt zur Verfügung ihren Gästen: Restaurant-Pizzeria-Bar,

HOW TO REACH TONNARA CAMPING

WIE SIE ZU TONNARA CAMPING KOMMEN

Se sbarcate a CAGLIARI (km 115): Prendete la superstrada per Iglesias, passate il bivio per Siliqua e dopo 6 km imboccate a sinistra la strada per Villamassargia, Carbonia e Sant’Antioco. Se passate per Iglesias allungate di 8 km attraversando le imponenti miniere di Monteponi. All’ingresso di Sant’Antioco, subito dopo il ponte di accesso, svoltate a sinistra al primo incrocio e seguendo per 12 km le indicazioni “Tonnara Camping” arriverete fino a noi, a Cala Sapone, sulla costa sud-ovest dell’isola. A Villamassargia, provenendo da Cagliari, troverete la prima stazione di servizio per fare carburante.

Se sbarcate a OLBIA (km 320):Prendete la superstrada per Nuoro che oltrepasserete per immettervi nella superstrada n. 131 (Sassari-Oristano-Cagliari), passate Oristano, dopo 50 km passate Sanluri e dopo altri 3 km circa arriverete al bivio per Samassi. Svoltate a destra per Samassi, passate Vallermosa, prendete a destra la strada per Domusnovas, dopo 7 km svoltate a sinistra verso la SS 130 che attraverserete per raggiungere Carbonia e arrivate a Sant’Antioco. Seguite come sopra indicato. A metà percorso, in corrispondenza dell’incrocio tra la nuorese e la 131, vale la pena di fermarsi al nuraghe di Losa o al Pozzo Sacro di Santa Cristina, dove oltre alla storia millenaria della Sardegna, potrete trovare ombra e ristoro.

Se sbarcate a PORTO TORRES (km 281):Prendete la superstrada n. 131 per Sassari-Oristano e seguite come sopra.

If you disembark in CAGLIARI (115 km):Take the freeway to Iglesias, pass the junktion for Siliqua and after 6 km turn left in direction Villamassargia, Carbonia and Sant’Antioco. If you go through Iglesias take the long way round for 8 km crossing the impressive mines of Monteponi. At the Sant’Antioco entrance, immediately after the access bridge, turn left by the first crossroad and following for 12 km the indications “Tonnara Camping”, you will find us, in Cala Sapone, on the south-west coast. In Villamassargia, coming from Cagliari, you will find the first petrol station for the fuel.

If you disembark in OLBIA (320 km):Take the road to S.Teodoro and then the motorway to Nuoro. Go over it and take the freeway n. 131 (Sassari-Oristano-Cagliari), go over Oristano, after 50 km pass Sanluri and after about 3 km reach the junktion for Samassi. Turn on the right for Samassi, go over Vallermosa take on the right the road for Dosmusnovas; after 7 km turn on the left to the SS 131 which you cross to reach Villamassargia, Carbonia you’ll arrive in Sant’Antioco. Continue like overwritten. In the middle of route, in correspondence of the crossroad between the “nuorese road” and the 131 Road, you should stop in Losa to visit the Nuraghe and in Santa Cristina to look the “Pozzo Sacro”. There you’ll find shade, refreshment and the millennial history of Sardinia.

If you disembark in PORTO TORRES (281 km):Take the freeway n. 131 to Sassari-Oristano-Cagliari and follow the previous indications.

Wenn Sie in CAGLIARI ankommen (115 km):Nehmen Sie die Schnellstrasse in Richtung Iglesias, fahren Sie an der Abfahrt nach Siliqua vorbei, nach 6 km biegen Sie links auf die Strasse nach Villamassargia, Carbonia und Sant’Antioco ab. Wenn Sie über Iglesias fahren, verlängert sich die Strecke um 8 km und Sie kommen an dem beeindruckenden Bergwerk Monteponi vorbei. Am Ortseingang von Sant’Antioco biegen Sie bei der ersten Kreuzung gleich nach der Zufahrtsbrücke nach links ab, und folgen Sie 12 km lang den Schild “Tonnara Camping” bis Sie bei uns in Cala Sapone, an der Südwestküste der Insel ankommen. Falls Sie von Richtung Cagliari kommen, die erste Tankstelle ist in Villamassargia; hier können Sie tanken.

Wenn Sie in OLBIA ankommen (320 km):Nehmen Sie die Strasse Richtung S.Teodoro und dann die Schnellstrasse Richtung Nuoro, von der Sie schliesslich auf die Schnellstrasse Nr. 131 (Sassari - Oristano - Nuoro) abbiegen. Sie fahren an Oristano vorbei, nach 50 km kommen Sie an Sanluri vorbei, und nach ca. weiteren 3 km gelangen Sie zur Ausfahrt nach Samassi. Biegen Sie rechts Richtung Samassi ab, fahren Sie an Vallermosa vorbei, und folgen Sie den Hinweisschildern nach Carbonia. Über Villamassargia und Carbonia erreichen Sie schliesslich Sant’Antioco. Ab hier halten Sie sich bitte an die obige Beschreibung. Auf halber Strecke, an der Kreuzung zwischen der Schnellstrasse Richtung Nuoro und der Schnellstrasse Nr. 131, lohnt es sich bei der Nuraghe von Losa oder dem Pozzo Sacro von Santa Cristina anzuhalten. Bei letzterem finden Sie neben der tausendjährigen Geschichte Sardiniens auch Schatten und Bar um etwas zu essen.

Wenn Sie in PORTO TORRES ankommen (281 km):Fahren Sie die Schnellstrasse Nr. 131 Richtung Sassari - Oristano - Cagliari und folgen Sie der obigen Beschreibung.
