My consciousness has never associated itself with this temporary body. Before I came on this earth ‘I was the same’. As a little girl ‘I was the same’.Ever afterward, though the dance of creation change around me, in the hall of eternity ‘I shall be the same’.

I welcome all of you to this spiritual exploration session. The proposition for today’s talk is as “How to make a quantum jump into bliss”? Today most of us stand on the big island of discontentment, glooms, despair and sorrow. And we have to make a quantum jump from this extremity to the opposite extremity of divine eternal bliss? Before we discuss the way as how to make this jump, firstly let us discuss what are our agonies. What are the causes of our sorrow and pain? If I have to make a list of problems of the mankind, though they seem to be infinite, but then also all these problems can be summarized into just four categories.

We feel that we don’t have sufficient material possession like money, wealth power etc. We all feel that we can be happier if we possess more. We all, in one or other phase of life, come across

some physical problems, like diseases, depression, frustration, the fear of getting old, the fear of death etc. We feel some-thing is slipping out from our hands; we are losing control on our own lives.

The third category of our problems is that we all face problems from our system by relationship. We look for love from others, we have set of expectations from others and we feel that our expectations from the relationship are not being fulfilled in totality.

The last category of problems is that we all expect others to live their lives according to our concept of what is right and wrong. But everybody has his or her own definitions of right and wrong, and this big difference in our opinion leads us towards complain against each other. In-fact the third and fourth category are one and the same.

These four broad categories of prob-lems, in fact inkle towards four greater truths and hence the ultimate solution of all these four categories of problems lies in the problems itself. Paradox is an inherent attribute of the manifested real-ity, that’s why in reality problems are not just the problems, but they themselves carry the solution too. These problems are realized by our body mind system.

Our body mind system is an automated system having its own consciousness, through deterministic. On the surface, our body – mind system appears to be an isolated system, but in-fact it is a part of the vast macrocosm, hence the percep-tion of the above mentioned problems by our body mind system indicates towards the vast realities of this existence.

The first problem as I said earlier, that we are not satisfied with our material pos-session, no matter our possession may in surplus of our requirements. We look for more and more. No matter however much you preach about contentment, your inner being always remains discon-tented. What is the reason?

The perception of this problem indicates toward a higher truth that our own physi-cal existence is not confined to the just our physical body, in-fact we are a part of a vast continuum of the mate-rial existence, hence our body mind system which is just a small part of this vast existence looks for the whole, the total existence. I repeat once again we are not confined to our own physical body, but in-fact we are a part of the vast grand scheme of god. We exist as one

unified material and non material cosmic existence.

Now come to the second problem. The realization of second problem that when we start facing some physical problem, our feelings of growing age becomes stronger, whether we admit or not we get terrified with the notion of proceed-ing closer to death. Death is imminent, we all know, but then also we are terri-fied. Why? Why are we scared of death?

Why? Because there is a vast truth of this existence - that is eternity. Eternity is an inherent attribute of Absolute truth. Absolute truth is always eternal. Life is an opportunity of the cognition of Ab-solute truth and death seems to rob us of this opportunity. That’s why we are scared of death. So the second grand truth we come across is eternity, Absolute truth is always eternal.

Now come to the third and fourth prob-lems. Our system of relationship does not give us a total satisfaction and the fourth problem is we all expect others to fol-low our path. When we expect love from others or we expect others to follow our path, it indicates towards the highertruth that others belong to us. Same thing others expect from us, it means we belong to each other. So the third and fourth category of problems push us to-wards a vast reality that we all belong to each other, we are not isolated entities, but on the contrary we all are the part of the unified reality. All these problems insinuate us towards higher truth. Since because of our lower consciousness we are not able to realize these truths,

Page 6: Eden Magazine May issue

6 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM • May 2011

hence these problems appear as prob-lems. If we expand our level of conscious-ness, the same problems can be the door-way of the realization of Absolute Grand truths and we can dive into the realm of eternal bliss.

Let me make the things clear once again at this lower level of consciousness we feel that

1. We are a distinct isolated body mind system from other material system.

2. Our life is limited and temporary.

3. I am a distinct living being and others are different than I.

4. My matrix of realization reflects this final truth.

Our lower consciousness isolates us from the vast truth; hence we become the victim of ignorance and delirium. If we raise our consciousness to the level of super-consciousness, we happen to real-ize the vast grand eternal Absolute Truth that:

1. We all, no matter living or non – living, are united together as one unified entity. Everything in this existence is perfectly united together as one unit and the basic constituent of this existence is bliss.

2. Everything in this existence exists simultaneously. There is no past, present or future. This division of this time scale is on account of our limited, localized and confined consciousness. When our onsciousness is free, we can feel the

eternity in a very crystal clear term. Then there is no death or life. Just the eternal existence is there.

3. The concept of good or bad is a partial relative and localized reality. Vast abso-lute truth is always non – localized. So our belief that we are right and others are wrong falls down.

All concept of right and wrong are selec-tive, relative and apparent realities. Ab-solute eternal reality can not be catego-rized as good or bad. Truth is just truth, bad or good are irrelevant. Truth can never be fragmented; it is always whole, inherent with this quality of being always total.

Now you tell me if anyhow you realize this grand truth in a very real manner having the direct perception of it, not in just in a logical or verbal manner, do you think then also your problem can sustain? No, not at all.

JUNGEL EYES isAshley Christudason

When I create art, I feel a need so strong to show others my per-

ception of the world & beyond. The overwhelming challenge of creating new colors unknown to the human eye constantly spurs me on through my journey. A never-ending fascina-tion with the meaning of our exis-tence & everything our eyes cannot see although open, are two of the many building blocks that make up my being.

I seek to convey the necessity of keeping an open mind & a free-imag-ination for the ultimate experience of self-infinity. This is the process of knowing that you are a part of every-thing - the ability to see yourself in all things.

My first piece was ‘born’ on 11/11/08 in Miami, Florida & ‘Jungle Eye’ was it’s name. (My synonym for one’s 3rd eye)

The 3rd eye is the viewer & key to inter-dimensional vision, the light penetrator of the richest darkness & the knower of oneness in all things.

May your Jungle Eye see in infinite unionwww.jungle-eye.com

Nandhi was born and raised in south India. His journey into the spiritual

realms began when he was 4 years old. His journey went way back to the time of pilgrimage to Swami Ayyappa (a shrine in South India). The pilgrimage that changed his life for ever. It was there when he wit-nessed a “radiant being as though lumi-nescent, walking out of the darkness”.

Near death experience appeared to him many years later in his life, that was when he saw a young saint who took him throughout Karmic death process, there Nandhi connected back to his ancient past.

Later on the saint initiated Nandhi into the “Siddhar path”.

Living in the sacred mountain of Thiruvannamalai in India, Nandhi is initiated by Ayya. Then in Rishikesh, the foothills of the Himalayas, Nandhi was taught by Ayya, the art of being able to take the body to a state where it is not affected by extreme cold or heat and hunger.

Understanding the state of higher consciousness which is also called “the state of sleepless or “Truiya” by Siddhar Sages, helped Nandhi to wake up to his childhood dream of saving the lives of thousands of retired cows and oxen, in the large organic farms that feed the hunger.

~~~
I met Nandhi in the full moon satsang event a couple of months ago and I immediately felt at peace as he was walking towards me. He smiled and hugged me in a very gentle way. I learnt that night that his message to us is to love and respect all living beings. The beauti-ful ceremony finished with a vegetarian dish that was provided for all the guests.
I had an urge to see Nandhi again for an interview. I asked him if I may visit him again to talk to him more about him and his message to others. Very politely he agreed and although I was not feeling good that day, nothing could stop me to seeing Nandhi again. So I was there again with my notebook and a grateful heart.
Nandhi started by telling me about his passion from his childhood to simply have
food for all and how he loves animals and how he can save them. He told me about “Ariven” which means “ oneness of all – and one who is awake”. Ariven is the one who knows Oneness and there-fore is Enlightened.
Their mission is to;1. Provide a sanctuary, a home for over thousands of rescued, of retired cows and oxen. Save them from cruelty and in-humane slaughter.
2. Heal our planet Earth, by creating clean energy, for example firewood alter-natives, clean electricity & super manure with cow dung.
3. Feed the hungry through creation of giant organic farms: utilizing a minimum 25% of the vegetarian produce feeding the hungry worldwide.
4. To promote & educate the importance of vegetarian diet for better health, planet earth and collective higher conscious-ness.
One should visit the spiritual healing center and yoga retreat in an ancient sacred place of South India, Podigai Hills. The center brings together the in-ternational community of the enlightened, awake & conscious beings. This is what the Ariven Community attempts to emu-late similar projects globally.
“By being ONE” we can make a difference. When we wake up to know ourselves to be the Spirit having a human experience, we become aware of the laws of karma and laws of dhar-ma. The law of karma is the action that creates the reality. The law of dharma is the goodness that happens. Every breath, we ascend in the inspired good-
ness we unfold as human reality. To know is to be Ariven.” Says Nandhi.
“When we save the life of just one retired cow from slaughter and know that you have saved one precious life of a gentle being, that lovingly gave and gave all its life. Imagine saving thousands!”
The natural power of animal spirit guides has not been lost. The knowledge and power of animal guides is alive and can be effectively used to improve our
lives. American Indians call the process of connecting with animal guides and other parts of creation as being ‘One with Nature.’
Connecting with your animal guide will make you a better person. You will be healthier physically, mentally, emotion-ally and spiritually. You will see the world and all things in it with more clarity and understanding.
Animals are wondrous happy creatures. There is no doubt that animals have beautiful, balanced emotions. They love and defend one another. They feel sor-row and melancholy. Yet, there has nev-er been a war between animal species. They know nothing about greed, envy, and hate. They live their entire lives with-out sin.
They have many amazing powers and use those powers only to benefit their own kind and not to overcome their opponents. There is a reason why we are all together on the same planet. A part of that reason is to learn from one another.
Animals are here to teach humans. They
have many powerful lessons to give us. They remind us that we are only a small part of creation; that each part of creation has a place; that each creature has its own skill and wisdom.
For the learning process to begin we must develop a relationship with one or more animal guides and this requires time and patience. This does not mean you must be with the animal physically. But instead, will learn about the traits, habits, skills and spirit of the animal from afar. As with any new knowledge, practice is important to hone learning into a useful skill. The rewards will be under-standing, love, light energy, skillful knowl-edge and wisdom.
Sara BebermanAn Animal Communicator
19 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM • May 2011
K nowing Sara for couple years has been a pleasure for me, she is a
compassionate person that has a gift.
The first time I talked to her was a couple years ago, when I called her about one of my cat, who all of sudden started act-ing weird! She told me things about him that I never knew even thought I had him for several years. She also told me things about him that I knew to be true. At that point,believed that Sara has a gift. Sara is an Animal Communicator, who share her work, belief and her passionate toward animals with us here.
Now in Sara’s word “I grew up around all kinds of animals in west Africa, Spending much of my time outdoors and have always felt a strong bond with animals. I was intuitive, but just didn’t have a name for how I knew things without being told them. As an adult I noticed that other people are intuitive but they either are not aware that are, or don’t have a name for it or have not developed it. I began reading as many books as I could find on intuition and animals com-munication. To sharp my abilities I studied with Marata Willams a scientist, animals communicator and author of “Learning Their Language”.
What is Animal Communicator and how does it work? Animal Communicator is using intuition by sending and receiving feelings, images and words between the communicator and the animal. Basically Sara acts as a translator so you and your animals companion can talk with each other. Once she connects or tunes in to your pet, Sara gets impressions, pictures, words or feeling sent by your pet.
Because intuition works across time and space, she works with animals and their people in other cities and other states.
People can contact Animal Communica-tor for many reasons; like to find out their pet’s likes or dislikes, discover root of behavior problem, learn their pet’s pur-pose in their life, Assist their pet through transitions like moving, boarding, and toward the end of their pet’s life asking for input on when and where their pet want to make the major transition of death and if their pet are prepared for the transition, and for many people happen to contact Animal Communicator after losing their pet and want peace of mind - talking with their pet after his or her death.
Lake Chad, which sits at the edge of the Sahara Desert, sur-rounded by Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Nigeria, has been shrinking at an as-tonishing rate due to climate change and poor damming and irrigation methods.
Around 4,000 BC, it was bigger than Germany or Japan are today, spanning an area of about 154,000 square miles (400,000 square kilo-meters). Now, it is just around 840 square
miles (1,350 square kilometers). That’s not even twice as big as Los Angeles. United Nations estimates show that the lake has shrunk 95% since the early 1960s.
Lake Chad which gets its name from a local word meaning “great expanse of water” has been misnomer for a long time.
Vanishing Lake Chad
Climate change and poor water management are working together to destroy a critical African lake.
Vanishing Lake Chad
Page 21: Eden Magazine May issue
21 THEEDENMAGAZINE.COM • May 2011
If nothing is done, scientists warn, the lake could be gone in 20 years. That would spell doom for the more than twenty million people who rely on the shallow, ancient lake for their survival.
“Agricultural engineers have been work-ing for two decades to boost Lake Chad region’s productivity by building irrigation schemes,” writes Shantha Bloemen of UNICEF.
“So far, they have increased the area under irrigation to 140,000 hectares, including 30,000 from an electric pump scheme that was started in 2005. But water levels are too low for these schemes to operate as they should.
Instead of growing, the region’s agricul-tural productivity has fallen, compound-ed by years of scant rains. An estimated 35,000 tonnes of annual food production has been lost.”
“It’s a severe and silent problem,” said UNICEF Chad nutrition chief Roger
Sodjinou, according to Emily Miller in South Africa’s Mail & Guardian. “Our latest figures show that 225, 000 children are dying every year from malnutrition in Africa’s Sahel belt.”
But it’s not just humans who rely on the health of Lake Chad. It is home to declining populations of hippopota-mus and crocodile, as well as and large populations of birds such as Ruff (Philomachus pugnax), River Prinia (Prinia fluviatilis), the Rusty Lark (Mirafra rufa) and the Black Crowned Crane (Balearica pavonina pavonina).
“In Bol, a town that once was on the shores of the lake, environment chief Faradj Dembell begged nations like South Africa to curb pollution from transport and industry that is contributing to Chad’s emergency,” Miller writes.
“He said, ‘I am pleading with the rest of the world to help stop climate change so we can survive.’”
Never Give up Hope
On a trip to India myself and a friend by chance found a tiny
place where you could go for a Tibetan massage. The two young Tibetan men who worked here gave a large percentage of the mon-ey from the massages to a char-ity that supported the care of elderly Tibetan people in exile.
During a visit here, I saw what I thought was starved kitten lying dead on the floor. I was horrified when I looked closer and saw the poor little animal move. Horrified I wondered how could something that had suffered so much could still be living? In a panic I asked the Tibetan men to help me as I did not know what to do for this tiny creature that was so close to death.
They scooped up his little body and
greatly reasured me that they were already trying to heal him. He had been abandoned by his mother and sadly within the first few weeks of life he was blind in one eye and had an infection in the other.
Someone had found this tiny little animal and had brought hime to these young men who they felt would help him.
They had bought eye drops to try save his remaining good eye and were putting vitamin drops into his mouth.
By Linda Dimichelle
Unless he soon became able to feed himself there would be limited chance of him surviving.
I sat and watched how tenderly these men cared for this very sick kitten. No motive other then to create healing and promote the survival of this tiny life.
We sat together and Charlie as we now named him nestled onto my lap. I prayed that he would drink from the tiny bowl of milk I held in front of him.
I tried to coax him with gentless but just as I began to lose all hope he suddenly began to drink by himself. We all rejoiced that there was now hope for this tiny little life to be saved.
Over the next days Charlie grew stron-ger and very vocal. He would follow the men around me-owing loudly for attentiion and then
sitting on them and puring even loud-er with contentment the moment they stopped working.
I was touched greatly by this experi-ence as these men had been exiled due to ongoing genocide and oppres-sion from their own homes and fami-
lies yet they showed no anger to the world, just an ability to sur-vive at all cost and within that survival to ensure that all others did too.
I saw within this moment true compas-sion and sur-vival.
A reminder that we must never give up hope or lose the faith that
we can survive our darkest moments.
I find one vast garden spread out all over the universe. All plants, all human beings, all higher mind bodies
are about in this garden in various ways , each has his own uniqueness and beauty.
Their presence and variety give me great delight. Every one of you adds with his special feature to the glory of the garden
Vajrasattva is the manifestation of the purity of body, speech and mind of all the Bud-dhas. The practice of Vajrasattva is espe-cially effective for purifying negative karmic imprints created by the ten non-virtuous ac-tions and transgressions of precepts, vows and commitments. By applying the Four Opponent Powers, this practice can help to purify our negative actions and alleviate guilt, remorse and feelings of unworthi-ness that keep us from going forward in our lives.
1. Power of Reliance: Taking Refuge and Generating BodhicittaI take refuge until I am enlightened in the Buddhas, the Dharma and the Sangha. By the positive potential I create by practis-ing generosity and the other far-reaching attitudes, may I attain Buddhahood in order to benefit all sentient beings.
2. Power of RegretThe negative karma I have accumulated from beginningless time is as extensive as the ocean. Although I know that each nega-tive action leads to countless eons of suf-fering, it seems that I am constantly striving to create nothing but negative actions.
Even though I try to avoid non-virtue and practise positive acts, day and night with-out respite, negative and ethical downfalls come to me like rainfall. I lack the ability to purify these faults so that no trace of them remains.
Vajrasattva’s Purification Practice
www.kathmanduboutique.com
With these negative imprints still in my mind, I could suddenly die and find myself falling to an unfortunate rebirth. What can I do?
Please Vajrasattva, with your great com-passion, guide me from such misery!
3. Power of Remedy: Mantra RecitationHundred Syllable Purification Mantra of Vajrasattva:
OM BENZASATTO SAMAYA MANU PALAYA / BENZASATTO TENO PATITA / DIDRO MAY BHAWA / SUTO KAYO MAY BHAWA / SUPO KAYO MAY BHAWA / ANU RAKTO MAY BHAWA / SARWA SIDDHI ME PAR YATSA / SARWA KARMA SUT TSA ME / TISHTAM SHRIYAM KURU HUM / HA HA HA HA HO / BHAGAWAN SARWA TATAGATA / BENZA MA MAY MUN TSA / BENZA BHAWA MAHA SAMAYA SATTO / AH HUM PHET (At least 21x daily)
Short Mantra of VajrasattvaOM BENZA SATTO HUM
4. Power of Restraint: Promise Not To Commit Negativities AgainBefore Guru Vajrasattva, I vow never again to commit these negative actions at least for a day, an hour or a few seconds from which I find it difficult to abstain
