• 95 grade 9 students wrote the achievement exams– 28 English Program Students– 67 French Immersion Program Students

• There were no exemptions in the Immersion Program

•There were 9 exemptions in the English Program

•4 were from the PLP class

•3 were excused for emotional needs

•1 was due to completing the majority of the year in a different province

•1 was exempt in Math only, not having covered the curriculum

• We have integrated our late and continuing programs this year

• Across all immersion subjects, we are consistently reinforcing French spoken in the classroom as each teacher gives 10% of their mark to effort to speak French

• Administration has met with classes and grades to reinforce the standard

• We have a French Monitor that comes in three times a week

• Each grade is getting a conversation class through the French monitor
