Airport transfers can be arranged by EC if requested in advance.All flight details including arrival time, flight numbers, airlineand point of origin have to be advised prior to arrival in order forEC to provide airport transfers. Failure to notify the airporttransfer number of flight delays/cancellations will result inassessment of fees.

Our drivers are holding a sign with the EC logo. Students willmeet our greeter once they go through the arrivals gates.

Students who have booked airport transfer and have a changeof flight on their trip to Canada should call the school duringoffice hours (Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-16:30local time) or the airport transfer cell telephone after hours. Theairport transfer number is active outside of office hourswhenever EC is expecting a student who has booked an airporttransfer. Airport transfer number: +1 416 209 8331. Students whohave not booked airport transfer should contact theirhomestay or residence directly if their flight is delayed.

There are a variety of inexpensive and reliable alternatives toget from the airport to the student's destination. These optionsare are not arranged by the school. The student can find outmore information about these services at the airport. Theserates are subject to change without notice. All rates are basedon 2012 costs in Canadian dollars.

It is easy to travel to school by public transit. Students shouldallow themselves plenty of time on their first day to arrive atschool.

Students are expected to arrive at school at 8:30am on theirfirst morning. They should bring the following to school withthem on the first day:

On their first day all students will receive a welcome pack,thiswill contain:

student information guidehomestay informationa map of the transit system for the citya copy of the activity and excursion calendar

Once students arrive at the school, they are evaluated so thatwe can place them in the appropriate level.

On first day, students have the evaluation, registration, andinformation session about school services, as well as a guidedwalking tour of the school surroundings.

It takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete all the steps ofregistration on the first day. In the months of July throughSeptember, it may take longer.

24 Lessons and 30 Lessons students begin their classes as of13:50 on the first day. 20 Lessons students begin their classes at09:00 on the next day.
