Silently, there are several thousand smart internet marketers out there making a passive fortune selling these digital gems virtually on autopilot, around the clock, every day of the year.  Writing and selling eBooks is one of the fastest and easiest ways to make money online, and depending on your motivation it can easily be a high six‐figure per year venture.  There are many ways to get an eBook out there quickly, and if you are thinking that you are not the “writing type”, then you are in luck because creating a high‐quality eBook that will make you money is easy when you know exactly how to do it. 

Here are five ways to get started with your very own online business selling eBooks: 

1. Write about popular topics 

When you are ready to sit down and brainstorm for your first eBook idea, always think about solving a problem.  What are you or your friends complaining about, what do many people need help with?  Things such as weight loss, finances, home ownership, and relationships are always hot topics, use examples such as these to get started. 

2. Overcoming the inability to write 

The great thing about writing you own eBook is that you don’t need any specific sets of skills in order to be highly successful.  With amazing resources such as the internet at your fingertips, you can put together virtually anything in a matter of hours of research.  On top of this, there are many areas online you can search for ways of putting together a book so that it looks as though it flows properly and in proper sequence. 

3. Quality over quantity always 

There are far too many eBooks out there that are over a hundred pages but at the same time you get absolutely nothing out of them.  If you are providing a book with extremely useful information without fluff and fillers, you should be able to get your message across in as few as 40‐60 pages.  A reader will never complain if they get something of value from your book, but they will complain if they read 100+ pages and are left still asking the same questions to their problems.  Always over‐deliver and you will have repeat customers for life. 

4. Use what you know 

If you are an expert or even just interested in a certain topic, and this topic has a market that you can monetize, then exploit the heck out of it.  If you are into weight loss, there are endless possibilities for writing an eBook.  The key to making a lucrative living through selling your material online is deliver useful information, and nothing helps you create useful information like being passionate about your

topic.  If you are not super‐passionate about something though this won’t prevent you from creating a lucrative income. 

5. Sit down and get started 

Creating your product may seem overwhelming when it’s nothing but a blank page, but just sit down and take it step by step.  First step should be finding your topic, second step is creating your chapter titles, which gives you an idea of what you will write.  Once you have your chapter titles in order, simply create a few sub‐topics for each and you will be well on your way.  Next step is just putting your ideas down on paper.  At first, simply write down anything and everything that comes to mind, this will give you material and from there you can cut it down and make it fit smoothly together.
