THREE WAYS TO REDUCE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT

1. Reducing small ordersMinimising the amount of small, ineffi cient orders you place is one of the easiest ways you can be a better friend to the planet. It cuts back on excess packaging, reduces transport emissions, and has the added benefi t of reducing your administration costs. We will look at the amount of small orders (less than £45) you made in 2015 as a baseline to monitor your improvement. When you place fewer small orders with us, we will plant trees on your behalf.

2. Eco-conscious productsWe’ve added clear labels on our products that are eco-conscious, to make it easier for you to make greener procurement decisions. Using your ordering history in 2015 as a baseline, we will look at the amount of eco-concious products you select in 2016 and measure your overall improvement. When you select more eco-concious products, we will plant trees on your behalf.

3. Category consolidationUsing one primary supplier across all product categories will result in even greater effi ciency in the use of packaging materials, transport costs, and administrative resources.

We will work closely with you to arrange a smooth consolidation process, and provide a customised report for you to track the improvement of your green credentials.
