It can be intimidating to be in a new place, but we want you to know that you are welcome here. At East Point we are trying to "BE CHURCH" in such a way that Jesus' passion is our purpose.

If we can help you in any way, please let us know. Our shepherds, minis-ters, ushers, worship leaders, Bible class teachers--really anyone you can identify as a member here--will be eager to help address your questions or needs. So do not hesitate to ask questions if you have them. We want to serve like Christ served.

In addition to the singing and study we have at 5:00 p.m. at the building on Sunday evenings, we have AGAPE Groups that meet in homes around the greater Wichita area as well. These groups meet at either 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. and are intended to help us grow in Action, Godliness, Accountability, Prayer, and Encouragement. All ages are welcome to participate at the building or in one of these small group ministries.

Also, in an effort to respect the privacy of each speaker, we will not be putting any information about our speakers in our bulletin nor will any information about them be posted on our website. If you would like to see the resume

of any speaker, please contact any member of the Search Committee and we will be glad to let you look at their entire resume.

We encourage you to share any comments you have regarding any of our guest speakers by either filling out an evaluation form, which are on the table in the foyer, or by telling any member of the Search Committee your thoughts.

Cake Reception There will be a cake reception on May 15th immediately after

Thanks, Devin Schadegg Bible Classes Adult Bible classes will meet as a combined class in the auditorium to hear minister candidates teach for the next two weeks. Missions Is looking for volunteers to help organize and run the fall 5K for Orphans. If you can help in any way please contact Chris Lemons at 316-993-1774. VBS Come join us, for our VBS work night Sunday, April 24th at 5:00pm. Volunteers are still needed along with donations. K-96 Highway Clean up Is April 30th. We will be meeting at 8:30am, here at the building, to pick up trash on K-96. If you’re able to help with the project, please sign up on the fellowship bulletin board.

Beulah Thompson is in Hospice care at Regent Park Rehabilitation Center. Blanca Ward is now at home and still needing prayers. Cheryl Wright went home Wednesday April 13th, no surgery was needed, and her

condition will be controlled by medication. Suzanne Oldenstadt’s a former member, surgery went well, she is asking for no

visitors at this time. Please continue to pray for her complete recovery. Jim & Gladys Jefferies’ granddaughter, Annie, is in Wesley’s NICU. Janie Karnes’ had knee replacement surgery, she is in Regent Park Rehabilitation

Center. Vicki Karr’s sister, Kathy, has stage 4 lung and liver cancer. Please continue to pray

for Vicki’s co-worker's 2 yr old granddaughter who is battling cancer. Rion Curtis has been deployed for 6 months. Expectant moms: April Barron, Sarah Batten, Rebecca Briggs, and Emily Stevens.

S.O.S. - we will be helping with the VBS work night on April 24th. We will start at 5:00pm. and will be done at 7:00pm. K-96 Clean Up - on Saturday, April 30th, for all teens and parents that can come out and help, we will be picking up trash on K-96. Please be at the building at 8:30am and we will be done at noon. Revive - will be on Sunday, May 1st from 5:00-7:30pm. Hope you come out for dinner, games and a devotional. Cost is $5 and friends are FREE, so invite them! Captain America: Civil War - is Friday, May 6th. More details to come. Senior Sunday - we will be honoring our seniors on Sunday, May 15th. There will be a cake reception immediately following services. If you are a parent/guardian of a senior, please contact Devin Schadegg. Also, please give Devin 25-30 pictures of your senior for the slideshow by May 1st.
