Having worked closely with a group of woodcraft and thatch specialists

over a long time we are now delighted to be able to offer a range retail

exotic thatched outdoor living buildings to match the shape and size most

requested from our customer feedback. These not only reflect virtually

every requirement suggested by our clients, but most importantly are

made with the same attention to detail associated with the bespoke

service

The basis for each is a timber frame supporting a genuine and fully

thatched roof. Whilst traditional construction methods are employed the

result is a contemporary and flexible outdoor living space.

It is our belief that the only way to create an authentic and visually

stunning structure is to use a genuine hand thatched roof. The creation of

each thatched roof is an art and as the thatching progresses the structure

comes alive. Not only does the thatched roof look fantastic it will also be

completely water tight and offer year round

Rame, Penlee and Maker models

In addition to our very popular simple thatched gazebos we offer 3 other

outdoor building styles inspired by the ‘al fresco’ lifestyle, and modelled on traditional outdoor thatched structures found in other more exotic

parts of the world.

Our outdoor units offer a useable, practical and visually stunning outdoor

living spaces. It is our objective to create structures that allow our

customers real opportunities to spend more of their life outdoors. If your

aim is entertaining, relaxation, seclusion, or year round barbecues, then we can design a model to fulfil your requirements.

Each style is an extremely versatile structure that can be built to many

designs. The cost of these models being dependant on the size and

specification required. We are however pleased to outline indicative costs for our more popular designs and sizes. The costs reflect their

construction and are subject to a site survey.

Once you have chosen the structure it can then be customised with lighting, heating, barbecues, spas and furniture if required.

evolved to meet the social needs of genuine ‘outdoor living.

The Outdoor Classroom

As well as teacher’s own experience over many years, there is clear government evidence that when learning outside the classroom children:

o attain higher levels of knowledge and skills o improve their physical health and increase their motor abilities o socialise and interact in new and different ways with their peers and adults o show improved attention and enhanced self-concept, self-esteem and o mental health o change their environmental behaviours and their values and attitudes

Following up request from many schools about the suitability of our thatched garden buildings, we listened carefully to teachers actually involved in the development and use of ‘the outdoor classroom’ and have produced a large version of our outdoor units to accommodate this feedback.

The design of the outdoor classroom provides a water resistant meeting point for pupils at break time and. The open structure allows groups to gather with durable wooden seating. They are also provided with canvas panelling shields children from the worst of the elements

Our outdoor classrooms allow teachers and children to enjoy and achieve in a different environment outside the classroom, providing stimulating areas, enhancing lessons if included in the lesson plan.

As an interesting secondary function they have proved to be very popular for parent groups at school drop-off and pick up times as well as for organised social events
