WHAT A GREAT WEEK
The 27th Truth In Love Lectureship began Wednesday night and with Clifton Angel as our first speaker and
he presented a lesson that started us off in the right direction. We were blessed to have 16 speakers present 17
lessons. Each of these lessons were carefully created and presented in a way that can help people for years to come.
Our speakers dedicated a large amount of time on the manuscript and lesson presented. Here are three reasons the
Truth In Love Lectureship week is great:
G ’ W : Let’s face it - our world has no respect for the Word of God. It is extremely great to be able to
spend time in our lives hearing from those who have a respect for God’s Word. The lectureship was created to “seek
the old paths” and this means we will have a time to seek out God’s Word.
F : The lectureship can be overwhelming to some but it is the bond of fellowship that helps us
keep going. To know that others want to uphold God’s Word and spend time with other Christians is exciting. Our
participation together helps us have a glimpse of what our time in Heaven will be. Lectureship fellowship is great.
F : When speaking about the lectureship we rarely use the word “focus.” However, I believe “focus”
gives us the right idea. Lectureship week is about spending the time (that we need) focusing upon Heaven. Notice
Matthew 6:21: “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Just to spend time together in God’s Word
helps us have the right focus of Heaven. Lectureship focus makes it all worth the time spent.

WELCOME: As we assemble on the Lord’s day for worship, we are honored to have others meet with us. It is our desire to glorify our Father in our worship. We always welcome questions about our service or anything you see or hear. If we can assist, please let us know.
THANK YOU NOTE: I want to thank you for the prayers and the get well cards I received. I appreciated them. I am home and feeling better. Love, Eris Ledford (Sister of Betty Reasonover)

TRUTH IN LOVE BOOK: Stop by the display area to get your copy of the 2017 Truth In Love Book. This year’s book is filled with 17 different manuscripts and all of them are great. This book would be a wonderful addition to your home and would be good for your family to read together.
TRUTH IN LOVE MEDIA: Don’t forget to get your copy of the 2017 Truth In Love Lectureship. We offer lectureship media in four forms: Blu-Ray, DVD Set, CD Set, and Memory Key. The DVD’s and CD’s are just like the past years and will include each lecture. The Blu-Ray is for Blu-Ray players and this is one disk containing the entire lectureship. The Memory Key contains the audio from 2015, 2016, & 2017 and will have the electronic lectureship book set also. Media Request forms can be found in the Display Area (Lectureship Week Only) and in the office. Prices are on the request form and we only “sell” these at cost.
TRUTH IN LOVE TV: The 2017 Truth In Love Lectureship will be edited soon and will air on the local Pulaski Bible Broadcast. We will be putting out a schedule of air times and ask that you help spread the word when these programs air. Both the Pulaski Bible Broadcast and the Truth In Love Lectureship are large works at East Hill. We want to do our best in presenting the Truth and in sharing the Truth of the Gospel. East Hill must unite to spread the Gospel.
