What is Bstow?Bstow is a free website that automatically rounds up your donors’ purchases to the nearest dollar

and sends the spare change directly to you.

Why was Bstow founded?The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge showed how people could be incentivized to give to charity. We aim to make that virality repeatable for many charities.

How do I sign my nonprofit up?

We pull nonprofits and their info directly from the IRS list. If you’re a 501(c)(3), you’re already signed

up!

What types of accounts does Bstow support?

Bstow allows your donors to link up their credit cards and debit cards from most major banks.

Donations are totaled up and sent to you at the end of each month.

Does Bstow round-up for transactions made online?Yes. Bstow works for all transactions made through

your linked account, whether online or at a physical location.

How secure is Bstow?We use best practices for major banks to secure

information and do not hold any sensitive banking information on file.

How do we track how much is donated?

We email receipts alerting donors of how much they have rounded up each month. You as a

nonprofit can log in to your dashboard to track donations.

How do I know donations are making it to my nonprofit?

We work with MakeMyDonation, a Donor Advised Fund that distributes money via check to the various

nonprofits our users support each month.

How will transactions show up on donors’ bank

statements?Bstow virtually rounds up their spare change throughout the month. Transactions only occur once per month and

show up as Bstowapp via MakeMyDonation.

How do I change the default picture for my nonprofit?

The default picture shows up either from the URL you registered with the IRS or from the first logo that appears in Google when searching your name. While we cannot

currently change this picture, we are working on a solution.
