The project has been made possible with the ongoing support and collaboration of volunteers, Mountain Bike clubs, Local Councils, State Government agencies and various other organisations. The Park has been developed to cater for a variety of mountain bike riding disciplines, styles and abilities ranging from gentler gradient beginner trails to highly technical and physically demanding downhill and cross country trails, as well as a skills development, jumps and 4x area. Given the high conservation value of the Park, it provides an important strategic biodiversity corridor between Cleland Conservation Park and Brownhill Creek Recreation Park. Please enjoy the Park and keep trails open by setting a good example of environmentally sound and socially responsible mountain biking. Gates are opened at sunrise and locked at sunset, 7 days a week. This Park is closed on Christmas Day, total fire ban days and days of extreme weather in the Mt Lofty Ranges. Contact the fire ban hotline on 1300 362 361 to confirm fire ban days. Individual trails will sometimes be closed to minimise spread of plant disease and after significant weather conditions eg heavy rainfall. If you wish to report fallen trees, hazards or other maintenance issues please contact the Park Caretaker on 0423 029 873 or the Office for Recreation and Sport on 8416 6677. SAFETY INFORMATION In case of emergency call 000 or 112 (from mobile phones). For police attendance call 131 444. For other matters call the Caretaker on 0423 029 873. In times of emergency such as bushfire, please assemble at emergency assembly points as indicated on the trail map and follow any instructions provided by Caretaker or emergency personnel. WARNING All riders are responsible for their own safe riding and riders use the Park at their own risk. Mountain bike riding involves risks and should be undertaken with care and regard for the riding conditions at all times. Some trails contain ‘extreme’ jumps, drops and obstacles. Carefully check the area you are going to ride before you ride it. Ride within your ability. Always wear a helmet and protective wear. Please be cautious of other users, including vehicles on the roads. The watercourses, dams and creeks are not suitable for drinking or swimming. Ensure you have enough water for your ride. Ride only on formed trails designated for cycling Unauthorised trail construction or modifications are prohibited. Bikes must be in good working condition and well maintained. Unauthorised vehicle access into the Park is prohibited. In warmer weather snakes are present in the Park. Please be aware that the “No Parking” areas are stringently patrolled and enforced.
