Consistent document processes thanks to d.velop

You no longer have to change from SAP GUI to Microsoft Office to create documents. Templates created with Microsoft Office are simply made available in your content repository and can be opened directly from the SAP transactions. Documents are auto-matically classified with the available information and keywords from SAP. After saving a newly created document, the document is archived in the corresponding content repository and an ArchiveLink entry is created in SAP (TOA0* table). Regardless of the department, accounting, controlling, distribution, purchasing or production, employees have convenient access to relevant document templates needed for their everyday work.

These settings can be configured using the provided “d.velop solution customising” transaction in SAP ERP.

Templates have a simple processing status: either “Processing” or “Release”. Released documents are made available in the attachment lists (Generic Object Services) for the user. The Office integration can accessed using the Generic Object Services or through an application.
