University Institute of Teachers Training and Research department was established in the year 2016 underthe flagship of Chandigarh University. CU is one of the most ethnically and culturally diverse universities in

the vicinity of The City Beautiful- Chandigarh. The goal is to provide holistic education to prospectiveteachers and to achieve this goal the objectives of the department envisage values oriented education,

develop critical capacities, enhance skills and competencies, preserve socio-cultural heritage and toacquaint student teachers with the impact of globalization on education. Our department has carved aunique place in the educational superstructure by dint of pupil’s marvelous accolade in academic and
