Stoller’s MP Super Starter Nutrient uptake

occurs primarily in root areas with active

cell division and cell differentiation. Better

root growth leads to better nutrient uptake.

MP SUPER STARTER has been specially

formulated to enhance root growth in

young and growing plants, allowing

improved nutrient uptake.

In order to have healthy plant growth and

achieve high yields, the root system must

have continuous new growth. Nutrients are

only absorbed at the growing points of new

root growth. The old parts of the roots are

of little value.

When plants begin their vigorous growth

stage, the new root growth tends to

slow down. When plants approach the

reproductive period, roots quickly go

backward. We must do everything possible

to keep this new root growth continuously

developing throughout the entire period

of the plant’s development. The use of MP

SUPER STARTER should set the genetic

expression so that new roots continue to

grow on the plant.

SEED TREATMENTMP SUPER STARTER applied to wheat

showed very large increases in uptake of

manganese, copper, and especially zinc.

MP SUPER STARTER also proved more

effective in increasing nutrient uptake

when compared to plants which had been

treated with a single micronutrient. Copper,

manganese and zinc were much more

effective in combination than they were

when applied alone.

was measured approximately 25 days after

Balancer™ Control the effect of excessive nitrates and increase sugar movement

Balancer™ is a convenient, effective

alternative to soluble boron with the

added benefit of molybdenum to promote

conversion of nitrate nitrogen into more

metabolically functional forms.

When crops enter their reproductive stage,

carbohydrates (sugars) tend to move toward

the reproductive sites (seeds). The roots

receive less food. They start to reduce

growth and begin to die. This results in early

death and reduced seed filling time.

THE HIGHEST YIELDS ALWAYS OCCUR WHEN STALKS OR STEMS ARE STILL GREEN AT HARVEST TIMEIt is important to discharge sugars from

the leaves just as the reproductive period

begins. This will also enable food to

move into the roots before they start to

MP™Nine Percent Boron

Boron influences set of flower and fruit as well as yield and quality

Boron is needed in protein synthesis for

formation of plant hormones. It also increases

cellular activity which promotes maturity,

influencing increased set of flower and fruit

as well as yield and quality. Boron affects

nitrogen and carbohydrate metabolism and

water relations in the plant.

Boron is immobile in plants, so an adequate

supply is needed throughout the growing

season. Once utilized in the active growing

tissue of the plant, boron cannot be

translocated and used again. This means

there must be a continuous source of boron

available throughout the growth cycle.

Boron availability decreases as pH

increases. Therefore, high pH or heavily

limed soils have limited amounts of boron

available for plant growth.

SOIL APPLICATION(Rates: 0.5 - 1 litre per acre)

Apply with sufficient carrier to provide

complete coverage. Soil applied boron must

be moved into the root zone to be available

to the plant. This can be accomplished by

irrigation, rainfall, or tillage.

formation. Zinc is also essential in the

formation of Chlorophyll.

Zinc functions like antifreeze in a plant. The

plant can withstand lower temperatures

if zinc is present in sufficient quantities

in the leaves. Zinc is important in the

transformation of carbohydrates and

regulation of the consumption of sugar in

the plant, as well.

sands, over-limed soils and both high-and

Manganese is an enzyme catalyst, and

plays a role in the assimilation of carbon

dioxide. Manganese is also important to the

Manganese activates the reduction of nitrite

and hydroxylamine to ammonia and is the

predominant metal ion in the metabolism of

organic acids. Manganese is also important

to disease resistance.

Manganese is not readily available above a

soil pH of 6.5. Manganese deficiencies are

more likely in low-organic-matter soils.

Harvest Crystal™5-10-27

Help increase your marketable yield.

Harvest Crystal 5-10-27 is a soluble fertilizer

crystal. It can be used for both soil application,

through irrigation, or can be used as a foliar

application. Because it has an acid pH, it can

be used with most fungicides and insecticides.

It will also acidify the irrigation water so that it

will inhibit the build up of carbonates in both the

irrigation emitters and the soil around the plant

roots. This is an enormous agronomic advantage.

Harvest Crystal 5-10-27 has a significantly

higher amount of trace elements than the

common soluble fertilizers that are now used.

The micronutrient level is nearly 100 times

higher than the micronutrient levels in most

soluble fertilizers.

Nutritionally, Harvest Crystal 5-10-27 is the

only product that contains high levels of both

calcium and magnesium. These two nutrients

are very important in the control of stress.

Harvest Crystal 5-10-27 is very high in potash -

the nutrient that is very closely related to sugar

movement from the leaves to the developing

fruit or storage tissue on any plant.

Harvest Crystal 5-10-27 has very low levels of

nitrogen. Since the needs for nitrogen vary so

much between different plant species, it best for

the end-user to add the amount of nitrogen to

Harvest Crystal 5-10-27 according to the need

and timing for the crop. Normally, the nitrogen

is added as a urea source. The use of urea as a

nitrogen source will not interfere with the pH of

Harvest Crystal 5-10-27.

If Harvest Crystal 5-10-27 is applied every

7 days at the rate of 10 pounds per acre (10

kilos per hectare) any crop is assured that

there will be no deficiencies in either calcium,

magnesium, boron, cobalt, copper, manganese,

molybdenum, and zinc. It is normally used every

7 days in order to complement the initial soil

fertilizer application.

If irrigation is not available, Harvest Crystal 5-10-

27 can be foliar applied every 7 to 14 days at

the same rate that is normally applied through

the irrigation. One must be careful, to avoid the

pollination period so that the fertilizer nutrients

do not interfere with pollination.

Harvest Crystal 5-10-27 will provide the plant

with any nutrients that are not available from

the regular fertilizer program or, “free choice

feeding”. The plant roots will not absorb

nutrients that they do not need and absorb the

nutrients that they do need. The plant roots are

given signals by the cells in the upper part of

the plant telling the roots which nutrients they

need. The roots then respond, absorbing the

necessary nutrients.

There is no other soluble fertilizer that contains

a balance type of secondary and micro nutrient

formulation to allow the plant to pick and

choose which nutrients it needs during different

stages of growth.

The values of the secondary and micro nutrients

in Harvest Crystal 5-10-27 are three times the

value of the nutrients contained in the nitrogen,

phosphate, and potash nutrient value. The

advantages for crop production are many times

more advantageous than the use of a regular

soluble fertilizer.
