1. Overview

Welcome to SmarTone Corporate Account - a brand new eBill service.

We strive for the highest service standard and to be ever more valuable to your

organisation. The eBill service helps you effectively manage and trace your billing

account anywhere, anytime. Not only giving you visibility & flexibility, but also a better

and comprehensive eBill service experience in a secure manner.

Benefits

Simple and Fast: The online bill looks exactly as the ordinary paper bill, you can now

view and download the current and previous statement instantly through your

Corporate Account.

Round the Clock Accessible: Access online anywhere, anytime.

Company Information Protection: Your bill information which is business

confidential is now better protected as your Corporate Account can only be accessed

by dual password authentication.

More Flexible Bill Distribution: Support multiple logins for a single billing account.

Different billing accounts can also be assigned to different administrators for the same

customer to maximise bill management flexibility.

2. Get Started

By going through a few simple procedures to create your account, you can enjoy the

comprehensive eBill services.

2.1 Create Account Mapping

In order to create your Admin account in the eBill platform, please provide the

authorized administrator(s) and his/her responsible billing account(s) by completing

the account mapping excel file. Under each billing account, there could be more than

one Admin login, while each Admin could view more than one billing account.

Here is an example illustrating the account mapping.

There are 3 billing accounts under this company. One of the Admin, Edith Cheung, is

responsible for all billing accounts for her company, while another Admin, Emily Wong,

is only responsible for 2 billing accounts.

Besides, to make it easier to associate with the billing accounts according to your

company structure or accounting needs, we provide 2 free-text fields called Attribute

to map with different billing accounts. In the example above, it’s mapped with different

department names (Sales/ Finance in Attribute 1) and cost centre number (C0327/

C1224 in Attribute 2).

You may find more detail from the headers in the excel file as below,

1. BR Company’s registered BR (Provided by SmarTone)

2. Account No: 8-digit SmarTone billing account number (Provided by SmarTone)

3. Attribute: Two free-text fields are available to map with the billing account. You

can input any wording that help you to recognize the account, e.g.

department name, office location, cost centre number etc. Or, they

can be in blank.

In above case, you could view in the platform as below,

4. Admin Email

Address:

Corporate email address of the responsible administrator (up to 20).

Public email domain is forbidden, i.e. hotmail, Gmail.

2.2 Set Up Login Account

Once the account is created in the SmarTone system, you will receive an invitation

email for Admin account setup. Please find 5 simple steps as below,

Step 1: Receive invitation email for Admin Account setup, click the link to go

to the setup page.

Input your company email

under your responsibility

Input any corporate mobile

under your responsibility

Step 2: Enter your company email as Username and any corporate mobile

number under your account as Password.

Step 3: Define your own Username and Password with at least 6 and 8

characters respectively.

** For security, password requires a combination of letter and number.

Step 4: Set up total 3 Secret Questions for future password recovery. Then,

the account setup completes.

3. Admin Login

To provide a secure eBill online platform, SmarTone has implemented a dual

password authentication mechanism. With the combination of two sets of password,

Administrator’s identity can be verified. It enhances security protection for reviewing

e-statement.

To login to the Corporate Account, the self-defined Username and Password are

required as the first authentication. One-time Password (OTP) will be sent to the

Administrator via his/her corporate email, and then the Administrator is required to

enter the OTP to complete the login within 30 minutes before the OTP expired.

3.1 Login Page

Please go to SmarTone Corporate Account page with the access link as

https://corpaccount.smartone.com/.

Alternatively, you may go to the SmarTone website at https://www.smartone.com/.

Select the Business section and click the ‘Corporate Account’ icon.

3.2 Login Procedures

Simply go through the dual password authentication process, you can login into the

eBill online platform.

Step1: Input your username

Step 4: System will send a One-time

Password to your company email

Step 5: Input the One-time Password

Step 4: System will send you the One-Time Password (OTP) via your

corporate email within several minutes.

Step 5: Please enter the OTP, which will be valid for 30 minutes only.

Step 6: You will be redirected to the main page.

You can now enjoy the comprehensive services provided by the eBill

4. Corporate Statements

You can view and manage your billing accounts in this online platform.

4.1 Statement Balance

It allows you to review the statement balance of all accounts under your responsibility.

Simply click the pull down menu to select account. The Statement Balance amount is

same as the outstanding amount of the last invoice.

4.2 Overview

This shows the unbilled local voice and data usage. That is, the local usage

accumulated after the last billing cutoff. By inputting the mobile number and click

search, the consumed usage of voice and data will be shown.

4.3 Corporate Account

It allows you to view and download the master statement by account level in PDF

format. You may use the pull down menu to select account and then click ‘Statement

of Account’ of the required billing month. The file will pop up for you to open or save.

Your Statement of Account will be retained up to the last 12 months in which the PDF

bills are accumulated since March 2016.

How to Open/ Save File

You may choose to open or save the file. The file is entitled as

AccountNo_InvoiceDate.pdf for easy tracking and recognizing.

4.4 User Account

It allows you to view and download the statement by subscriber level in PDF format.

By simply inputting the mobile number, the Statement of Accounts under designated

mobile number will be shown. By clicking the ‘Statement of Account’ of the required

billing month, the file will pop up for you to open or save.

You may choose to open or save the file. The file is entitled as

AccountNo_MobileNo_InvoiceDate.pdf for easy tracking and recognizing.

4.5 Usage Details

You can view the billed usage details by inputting the mobile number and select the

required invoice issue date in the pull down menu. The call transaction with date/ time,

call type, usage amount and charge will be shown at once. By clicking the header

(Date & Time, Usage Type, or Charges), the usage detail will be sorted in relevant

order respectively.

5. Login

You can change your login credentials including the username, the password and the

secret questions, whenever needed. Notification email would be sent to inform you

the record update.

5.1 Settings - Change Username

You can change your Username by clicking the Change button, and enter the new

username twice and also your current password.

The set up of Secret Questions is for password recovery via the self-help service

platform. You can change your Secret Question here. For security reason, you are

requested to answer two of the current secret questions before changing them.

For safety reason, please remember to logout every time after use.

You may logout the portal by simply clicking the logout icon. A confirmation message

would be prompted afterwards.

7.2 Timeout

If it is idle for over 30 minutes, the session would be expired and you are required to

login again.

8. FAQ

8.1 What shall I do if I forgot the password?

Ans: If you forget your password, please click ‘Forget username and/or password’ for

self-recovery.

You are required to answer 2 secret questions. Upon completion, system will send

you a one-time verification code via email to your registered corporate email address.

Please input the code to verify your identity. Then, the system will direct you to reset

your password.

8.2 What shall I do if I forgot username?

Ans: If you forget your username, please contact your account representatives or our

24-hour Corporate Services Hotline at (852) 2281 8818 for assistance. We would

assist you in obtaining your username which would be sent to you via your registered

corporate email.

8.3 What shall I do if my account has been blocked?

Ans: When you enter an incorrect password, error message will be prompted and

your login attempt will be failed. If you fail to login for 5 times, system will direct you to

answer the secret questions. Your account will be blocked if you cannot answer the

secret questions correctly. And, you have to contact your account representatives or

our 24-hour Corporate Services Hotline at (852) 2281 8818 for assistance. We will

release your account and reset a new password for you. The new password will be

sent to your registered corporate email.

8.4 What shall I do if I need to change the responsible billing account(s)?

Ans: To add or to remove the responsible billing account(s), please contact your

account representatives or our 24-hour Corporate Services Hotline at (852) 2281

8818 for assistance. We would change the account mapping in our system.

8.5 What shall I do if I cannot receive the One-time Password (OTP) or the

OTP expired?

Ans: In case you cannot receive the One-time Password (OTP) or the OTP expired

after 30 minutes, click the link ‘here’ under ‘Resend one-time Password’ to acquire a

new OTP.

8.6 When will the e-Statement be updated?

Ans: Bill notification will be sent via email every month reminding you the readiness of

new e-Statement. You can review your latest billing and usage details by clicking the

link in the email and login to the account.
