Installing the Mobile App

On your mobile device go to the MCW Libraries website:

mcw.edu/mcwlibraries.htm

Select All E-Resources

Then tap the “DynaMed” link on the alphabetical list.

If you are working from off-campus, you will be prompted to log on to the proxy server, using your MCW username and

password. (If you are on campus, you will skip this step.)

You have entered the DynaMed website. Tap “Mobile” link at the top of the page.

Enter your MCW email address. DynaMed will email you instructions, a link to download the app and an

authentication key.

Open the email from DynaMed. The link to MCW email is “owmail.mcw.edu.”

Tap the link in Step 1 to download DynaMed from the iTunes store.

Tap the “Get” option next to AccessMedicine, and then tap the green “Install.”

If prompted, enter your Apple ID password.

Tap “Open” to set up the DynaMed app on your mobile device.

Select whether or not you would like to receive notifications from AccessMedicine.

DynaMed has been installed! The next step is to click the authentication key from the DynaMed email.

Go to the email from DynaMed. Tap the authentication key link in Step 2.

The DynaMed app should open and this tutorial should appear.

Tap the Updates tab at the bottom of the page to perform an update.
