    Term 3 Week 1 - Edition 7 Friday 24 July 2020

    Principal’s Report

Welcome back to all of our families for term 3. After the

roller coaster of last term, we are hoping that this term

provides more stability and opportunities to continue with

the exciting business of teaching and learning. It has been

lovely catching back up with all of our students and hearing

how they and their families spent their break relaxing and

    enjoying fun times.

    Covid-19 School Guidelines

As I said in the message sent out via Flexischools and

Facebook earlier in the week, we are operating very

similarly to the end of last term. The full explanation for all

of the guidelines for families can be found at:

    https://education.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/advice-for-families

Basically ‘non-essential’ parent presence at school is still

    not allowed, except for:

    * Parents cooking for Wednesday lunches.

    * Formalised Parent/teacher meetings (usually for

    welfare reasons).

Whenever a parent or visitor attends school they need to

complete the appropriate form in the office.

At school we are all still adhering to handwashing and

sanitising protocols, as well as the need for students to

bring water bottles as opposed to drinking from the

    bubbler.

Student drop offs in the mornings are still ‘kiss-and-drop,

and pick-ups in the afternoon will remain staggered

    (K/1M@2:30pm, 2/3K@2:45pm and 4/5/6@3pm).

Importantly, if parents are going to be 15 minutes beyond

these pick-up times, we ask that they contact us to inform

us so that students are not sitting for extended periods in

the COLA after a tiring day of learning.

    P&C AGM

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for the P&C

AGM at the end of last term. A new Executive was elected

and congratulations must go to Brooke Udale - President,

Jo Anderson and Stacey Hilder - Vice Presidents, Karen

Nixon - Treasurer and Kate Field - Secretary.

A huge thank you must go to the outgoing executive who

put a lot of work and effort into our school and our

students. Our school is grateful for the work that Kathy,

    Tania and Claire did.

We are once again asking for your participation in the Parents and Citi-
