• Apply cool compresses or bathe burned area

• Take over-the-counter pain medicine as directed

• Drink extra fluids

• Use perfume-free, alcohol-free lotion

– Loosen tight clothing

Housing Demolition

• Approvals have been received, and funding sent to the Corps of Engineers for demolition.

• All remaining houses in West Wherry have been identified to be demolished.

• Remaining residents will be required to relocate No Later Than 15 September 2016.

• Contractor personnel will move at their own expense.

• Government personnel may be moved at Government expense.

• Two bedroom housing units in East Wherry are extremely scarce.

Yards should be maintained to present an esthetic beauty and to

assist in preventing rodent infestations.

Grass should be cut and leaves raked and disposed of.

Lawns must be watered in order to prevent grass from dying.

The Self-Help store has various items to help you maintain your

yard, to include many new lawn mowers.

Pit Bulls, American Staffordshire Bull Terriers, English

Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Rottweilers, Doberman

Pinschers, Chows, wolf hybrids, and crosses of these

breeds are generally classified as dangerous breeds and

are not allowed in Dugway Proving Ground Family

Housing.

Pet dogs continue to be a problem. Dogs are roaming freely

throughout the housing area. Some have attacked other

smaller dogs. Please remember, Pet dogs are to be kept on

a leash (not to exceed 15 feet in length) and under the

owner’s supervision and control at all times when outside

of the home or fenced-in yard.

Pets (Con’t)

• Residents are reminded that they are financially liable for all damage caused by their pets to doors, floors, carpets, walls, shades and blinds, screens, appliances, cabinets, and outside structures.

• Poop and scoop is mandatory and requires the removal of all pet waste from yards and common areas (including the dog park).

• All dogs and cats over the age of 90 days must be immunized and wear a current rabies tag.
