MOVE RIGHT FOR SIRENS AND LIGHTS

Emergency vehicle right of way laws are in

place to protect several groups of people,

including: emergency vehicle operators,

patients within the vehicle, pedestrians, and

drivers.

You may be charged with failure to yield to

emergency vehicles if you:

• Do not come to a complete stop.

• Fail to move the right shoulder of the road. This includes both lanes of traffic of a two way street.

• Fail to get out of the way of the emergency vehicle.

• Move in front of an emergency vehicle.

• Fail to provide as much space as practical to a stationary authorized emergency vehicle

Official (BRO).

If you see something that needs repaired, report it to your BRO.

BROs should regularly walk through their buildings and report areas

that need attention.

Housing Renovation

• The Mountain View housing renovation project will

be complete by 1 May 2016.

• Residents moved for the renovation will be moved

back into their houses beginning 2 May and will

be moved 2 per week until finished.

• Residents will be moved back according to move

out date, (who moved first).

Housing Demolition

• All remaining houses in West Wherry have been

identified to be demolished,

• Remaining residents will be required to relocate to

either East Wherry or Mountain View.

• Contractor personnel will move at their own

expense.

• Government personnel may be moved at

Government expense, however they may move at

their own expense to secure choice of housing.

• Two bedroom housing units in East Wherry are

scarce.

SummerSummer is fast approaching and residents are reminded:

• Yards must be maintained to present an esthetic beauty

and to assist in preventing rodent infestations.

• Grass should be cut and grass cuttings and leaves be

raked and disposed of.

• Lawns must be watered in order to prevent grass from

dying.

• The Self-Help store has various items to help maintain

your yard.

• Swamp coolers are not air conditioners and they will

only lower the ambient temperature about 20

degrees.

• Each housing unit is equipped with a water softener

because the Dugway water is full of heavy minerals.

These water softeners utilize a special salt to

operate effectively. The salt level should be kept at

least half full. Salt is available for free at the self help

store.
