BEST FEATURES OF
THE WALGREENS APP
Features like the scanner may seem frivolous, but they
illustrate how the app is meant to enhance in-store experiences.
The Walgreens pharmacy app boasts most of the same
features as CVS, but it includes a handy “Refill for Family Member” option and pill/
vaccination reminders.
With options to upload straight from Facebook and Instagram,
the photo app is more user and mobile-friendly than CVS’s.

THE CVS APPThe brand-new
drug interactions feature acts as a built-in pharmacist for checking
conflicts in drugs
The ExtraCare feature lets you scan your rewards
barcode straight off your phone and keeps track of rewards
Both stores have extensive pharmacy features which allow you to do virtually everything
but actually receive your prescriptions through your
phone.
