TIPS & ADVICE INORGANIC WASTE Owners or Tenants who have large inorganic items to dispose of should please call the Property Manager, Stephen Connelly, who will arrange disposal usually at no cost.

Welcome  to  the  Freemans  Park  Newsletter.    The  Owners’  Committee  would  like  to  wish  you  all  the  best  for  the  upcoming  holiday  season.

TIPS  &  ADVICE  INORGANIC  WASTE  

Owners  or  Tenants  who  have  large  inorganic  items  to  dispose  of  should  please  call  the  Property  Manager,  Stephen  Connelly,  who  will  arrange  disposal  -­‐  usually  at  no  cost.    

 

 

 

   

 

 Building  Maintenance  Now  that  the  warmer  weather  is  here  and  as  outlined  in  the  Long  Term  Maintenance  Plan,  the  Star  Block  at  59  Hepburn  Street  was  also  recently  painted.    

 

Rules  Update  due  to  Unit  Titles  Act  New  legislation  governing  all  Body  Corporates,  The  Unit  Titles  Act  (2010),  came  into  affect  on  20th  June  2011.  This  new  legislation  required  a  review  and  update  of  the  existing  Body  Corporate  Rules  and  as  a  result  Freemans  Park  have  new  Operational  Rules,  endorsed  at  the  2012  AGM.    The  new  Operational  Rules  for  Freemans  Park  have  now  been  registered  with  Land  Information  New  Zealand  (LINZ)  and  a  copy  posted  to  all  Owners  and  is  available  on  the  Freemans  Park  website    -­‐  http://freemanspark.co.nz    As  well  as  being  a  legal  requirement  (binding  on  the  Body  Corporate,  Owners  and  anyone  who  occupies  a  Unit),  these  Rules  also  ensure  that  living  at  Freemans  Park  is  an  enjoyable  experience  for  all  Residents  and  Visitors.  It  is  important  that  all  Owners  are  familiar  with  them  and  Landlords  provide  a  copy  of  these  new  Operational  Rules  to  their  Tenants.  

 

TIPS  &  ADVICE    NOISE  

Owners  or  Tenants  should  call  Property  Manager  if  they  have  an  unresolved  issue  with  noise  or  behaviour  from  neighbours  that  disturbs  their  enjoyment.    It  is  preferable  that  you  address  the  issue  with  your  neighbour  in  the  first  instance,  however,  sometimes  this  is  not  appropriate  in  which  case  the  Property  Manager  is  available  to  resolve  the  situation.    

‘Noise,  Behaviour  and  Conduct‘  is  addressed  in  the  Freemans  Park  Operational  Rules  (17).
