SedSpec Introduction• SedSpec (a WWW-based tool) provides the

necessary calculations to provide approximate sizes and costs of hydrologic and erosion control structures• Channels (grassed, open, riprap, concrete)• Culverts• Sediment basins• Terraces• Runoff diversions• Storm water detention basins

• SedSpec utilizes TR 55 or the Rational Method to compute peak rates of runoff.
