ExperienceResearch & Development

My research interests include, by not limited to, Wireless Communications, Connected & AutonomousVehicles (CAVs), Networking protocols for Mobile Ad-hoc Networks, Intelligent TransportationSystems, Internet of Things and Wireless Sensor Networks. I have been working as a researcheron EU and industrial funded projects at the Institute for Communication Research (ICS), formerCentre for Communication System Research (CCSR), at the University of Surrey for more than 5years. I have participated in all the phases of a project from proposal, to research and reporting.

Jun 2016 –present

Research Fellow, ICS, University of Surrey, UK.Currently working on the CARMA project, a JLR/EPSRC funded project within the TASCCprogramme to investigate cloud-assisted real-time methods for autonomy. I serve as WorkPackage Leader and I’m responsible for the System Architecture Specifications and theAccelerated Mobile Edge Infrastructure development.

Jul 2015 –Sep 2016

Research Fellow, ICS, University of Surrey, UK.Working on the GrandUnion project (http://iot.ee.surrey.ac.uk/GrandUnion/) as a technicallead for ICS group. GrandUnion is an InnovateUK project on making remote workingsecure, resilient and reliable. Responsibilities include research on novel algorithms forresilient/reliable remote working and the development/testing of an Android application todemonstrate those algorithms.

Jan 2014 –Jun 2015

Researcher, ICS, University of Surrey, UK.Conducted cutting edge research on hybrid vehicular architectures with focus on Net-work/Transport layer optimisation as well as system architecture. The responsibilitiesincluded the design and development of innovative solutions for Huawei Technologies.

Research Assistant, CCSR, University of Surrey, UK.I was involved in the DRIVE-C2X project researching on geonetworking enhancements andthe impact analysis of large Field Operation Tests.
