MISR CONSULTANCY SERVICES:

Founded “Misr Consultancy Services” in 1995 which is a solid, respected mid-sized structural consultancy office that is large enough to offer a wide range of professional services, yet small enough to promise our clients the ‘human touch’. Over the years I have developed a team of engineers who worked under my direct supervision. My office handled the design and/or verification of big commercial and industrial projects as outlined below:

From 2006 to 2010:

Al FAYAH Pre-stressed Concrete Bridge in Abu Dahbi, United Arab Emirates.

The bridge was 4 spans 40 meters each in the downtown of Abu Dahbi.

Design of the bridge according to LRFD design specifications. Design of testing scheme of the bridge after construction.

Al Raha Beach Development Bridges (18 pre-stressed concrete bridges) in Abu Dahbi,

United Arab Emirates

The Bridges were of different number of spans and with different alignment

Verification of the design of the 18 pre-stressed concrete bridges which were designed in different international design offices.

Design and verification processes were according to LRFD design specifications.

Sorfert Fertiliser Complex in Algeria:

Sorfert Algerie is a 1.2 million tpa ammonia/granulated urea plant in the Arzew industrial

zone, Algeria. The plant accouns for one of the largest volumes of fertiliser exports to the

Mediterranean. Design of the reinforced concrete pump station of the project. Design of underground reinforced concrete tunnels for water pipes (2 pipes of

diameter = 1.2ms. each). Verification of the structural design of the different structural components of the

project (steel and reinforced concrete).

Terga Electrical Station in Algeria Electrical station with a cost of 560 million euros to build a 1,200 MW Combined Cycle power plant in

Algeria

Verification of the structural design of the reinforced concrete water tank and

pump station of the project.

Corplease Building at Smart Village in Egypt

12,000 square foot six-storey administrative building

Design of the reinforced concrete skeleton of the project.

Sphinx Building at Smart Village in Egypt

30,000 square foot six-storey pre-stressed concrete building

Design of the required excavation for the 3 basements of the building. Verification of the structural design of the 6 stories pre-stressed concrete

building. Supervision of construction of the building.

From 2011 to 2013:

New Cairo Waste Water Treatment Plant in Egypt

$472 million project wastewater Treatment Plant which is the first public-private partnership (PPP) project in Egypt. The plant has a capacity of 500,000m³/day.

Verification of the structural design of the reinforced concrete units of the plant Evaluation Study of the construction materials used.

From 2013 to 2014:

Seasonal Flights Terminal Building in Cairo Airport, Egypt The terminal building footprint is about 16,000 m2. An area of 12,000 m2 is totally enclosed and air-conditioned whereas the remaining area of 4,000 m2 is comprising a shaded outdoor plaza. In addition, two adjacent facility buildings are designated for providing services to passengers. The building serves 2.5 million passengers per year.

Verification of the structural design of the steel skeleton of the structure.
