I find that the X website is not always kept up todate on whats happening in class.Sometimes its difficult to get into the website andthen my son is unable to find out what he has for homework. I think homework should becommunicated in class daily and not just on thewebsite.

I like be able to see what they are working onin class without having to wait every few weeksfor the newsletter.As a parent, I know what the HW is for the day. Often

Love it!! It's much better than FirstClass,and better than newsletters, especially inlight of paper wastage.

I like that through the blog function eachstudent can also interact with each other.

I think it is enough, otherwise it will take too long to review and peoplewill lose interest.

Only when trying to view the Mid- Autumn festivalvideo. The video kept stopping and eventually wegave up and did not watch all the footage.

It is great when the teachers put video footagefrom within the classroom. It's also great to seepictures of the kids participating during theday's activities. The kids enjoying looking at

the Weeblies as a family and to show their siblings visually what is going on in their classroom. There is enough communication. Occasionally

Sometimes links to the co-curricular websitesdidn't work. A couple of times, we couldn't accessthe class website.

Great idea to have class websites. Keepit up, please!

These websites are a great way for us parentsto see what the kids are doing in school. Eventhe grandparents overseas are occasionallyenjoying the websites. It's also very useful asa conversation starter to talk about school athome or for the grandparents when talking withthe children on the phone.

We LOVE to see photos of the childrenworking in class, of special occasions well astheir art work.

It would be nice if the calendar could be "personalized" for each classto show class-related events (e.g. fieldtrips, assembly performance,volunteers in the classroom).

this is not a frustration of the website necessarily,but of how it is being used by the teacher - theteacher doesn't inform the kids of what their 

homework is and instead, tells them to check thewebsite to find out. I think that it would be better if the kids were informed verbally and also, they cancheck online as well if they wanted to. Thewebsite shouldn't be the only source of i nformationregarding their homework.

We can go onto the site and find out aboutwhat's going on in the classroom. Occasionally

We think that the websites are a brilliantaddition to the school communications andhope that they are continued. Pictures andvideo really help to understand better what isgoing on at school and the m aterials uploadedgreatly assist with learning at home.

It would be very helpful if the pinyin (and possibly, translation inEnglish) for Mandarin songs is also uploaded. It would help parentsweak in Mandarin to follow. Often

- my only frustration is not knowing when to goonto the site (how often) so as not to miss things.For me personally, I would love to receive an emailto inform me that new posts had been made - Iwonder if there is a way to 'subscribe' to that, soonly those parents (like me) who want the extraemails can receive a message saying 'updateshave been made to x site' ??

- we are new to the school, so never sawthe old newsletters

- I love taking a peep into the classrooms &seeing the kids in action, particularly the videos& the photos of the kids with their school work

- I feel like I am getting a great level of communication from all of mychildren's teachers X - m ore than I would have expected or hoped for.

The only area where you may like to consider adding information isschool wide/administration posts, letting us know what is happeningoutside of the classes (e.g. school assembly, primary/school wideactivities, even highlights from different classes) BUT that is a 'nice' tohave - I would not expect that information.

- I also sometimes feel like I should post a comment, just so theteachers know their input is appreciated, but don't really have anythingmeaningful to add, so don't leave a comment. I wonder if there is away to overcome this, so teachers' don't feel their efforts are goinginto a black hole? (e.g. a 'like' button??)

I (X's mom) believe that the website is useful andpretty good for the X class and would rate it on ascale of 7 or 8. However, the X website is belowstandard and rated at about a 1. The preschoolwebsite is stagnant with minimal class updates. Iam unable to open documents done in Pages andKeynote formats. Photos and other informationseem to vanish on the preschool site rather thanbe archived. The preschool list generalized valuesand expectations as if copied from a book w/oeven coming close to what the class is learning ona weekly basis. The X Mandarin update is a bitmore informative and does share songs.

I think some of the teachers may needfollow up course on working effectivelywith websites. I noticed that someteachers sites are well above averageand others fall short of being acceptible.Perhaps the IT teacher could offer adviceto the teachers on making the informationmore useable (such as offering both PDFand Word document choices, site layout,etc.)

The X site is informative on what the class hasdone and what they will do. The homeworkassignments are layed out with simple, yetcomprehensive directions, where my daughter knows exactly what she needs to do. Occasionally
