18The Solution Architecture refers to various layers of interactions experienced in Leisure.
Reservations : Be it for rooms [PMS], facilities [GMS, SpA] or events [S&C], the suite of ShawMan applications would take care off all needs.
Membership Profile & feedback would help the club understand its members preferences better and also get an opporutity to know what the members need and expect from the club.The Operations Systems consists of all types of billing applications, that generate member-wise outstanding statements. In addition transaction systems like Materials Management, Payroll and if required, HR too can be positioned here.
Backend System - The output of billing systems that generate receivables thru CMS can be linked into an appropriate General Ledger of the backend. Similarly, the backend would also support payables to vendors, salary disbursement and advances to employees coming from Payroll system with bank reconciliation. In this case, SAP ERP will provide its powerful Genral Ledger capabilities to consolidate all accounts. From a technology stand-point, this application could be any other Financial System which is open to receiving data from third party applications.

20Comprehensive SolutionShawMan offers a comprehensive solution for Clubs, SPA and other facilities in Leisure Industry. This consists of reservations Systems for rooms thru PMS, golf turf thru GMS, Billiard or Card Tables thru CMS, which can be accessed by members based on their category of membership over the Internet thru CRM.
Besides Membership revenues, Club earns revenues through POS, any specialised offering like reading membership in library, specialised stores [especially in Golf/Tennis clubs that sells accessories] which need to be accounted under member spend.
Clubs also let out facilities for events, functions etc which need to be managed as this earns revenues. ShawMans S&C takes care of this requirement.
Clubs use Payroll for employee salary computation, have inventory which needs to be managed. Both these go in as payables in a financial system that ShawMan would interface to.
