Penn Medicine Translational Asthma Research Program
The Center of Excellence in Environmental Toxicology at the Perelman School of Medicine atthe University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant, Associate, and/or FullProfessor positions in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D./Ph.D degree.

Under a multi-year plan of growth and expansion, SUNY Upstate Medical University is committed to hiring

Upstate Cancer Center. SUNY Upstate, located in Syracuse, NY, is the only academic medical center and largest employer in Central New York.

matrix, cancer-associated fibroblasts and macrophages, tumor vascularization, tumor
immuno-biology, mechanobiology, protein trafficking, metaloproteinases in cancer invasion,

■ Developmental Cancer Therapeutics and Drug Screening Program will accept appli-
cations from qualified candidates with expertise in small molecule screening and drug design
and experience in bringing drug candidates to late-stage animal testing and/or early-stage
clinical trials. The applicant should have operational knowledge regarding properties of phar-
macophore classes (which tend to have favorable pharmacokinetics and which should be
avoided due to toxicity, metabolism, etc.), how to optimize small molecules identified from
libraries, how to make small molecules patentable, and how to efficiently screen compounds
for efficacy, toxicity, and pharmacokinetics in different animal models. Position #047300
■ The goal of the Program in Urological Cancers is to understand molecular mechanisms
of urological malignancies with the ultimate goal of improved treatment and diagnosis and
