- Participated in R&D for optimizing process of Inconel clad welding

- Hands-on experience: beveling to tight tolerances, manual pipe grinding/cutting, software tracking of welds

- Learned and applied the industry standard protocols for offshore welding (DNV Offshore F101-2012)

Engineering Intern & Technician (May 2014 – July 2014)

- Installed vacuum system for new gyrotron, an electrical power system

- Designed a water return system for the gyrotron
