Possibilities of the A350 XWB. Made Easy.Vive La Modern Flight Experience

To learn more about how Honeywell’s systems are advancing the next generation of airliners, visit aerospace.honeywell.com/markets/airlines.

Honeywell has developed a holistic approach to integrate multiple systems on the Airbus A350 XWB. This has created a more efcient aircraft that leads to better passenger comfort, reduced fuel costs, higher dispatch reliability and the extension of Honeywell’s technology legacy.

Reduced operational noise provides a better experience for passengers, ground and in-ight crew.

Advanced environmental systems keep passengers and crew refreshed during ight.

Integration of critical systems helps reduce the overall weight of the aircraft, and the advanced HGT1700 Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) leads to a 10 percent reduction in specic APU fuel use and an equivalent reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.

Fuel reduction from the APU supports the overallaircraft fuel efciency improvement of 25%.

With Honeywell’s more than 50 years of experience providing integrated aircraft systems, the A350 XWB soars.

Seven years of development and modications accommodate a greater level of overall cockpit integration known as “the common cockpit.”

HGT1700 Auxiliary Power Unitis optimized to reduce weight, maximize performance and reduce direct maintenance to provide safe, efcient, low-cost operations

Bleed Air System is a high-pressure system that provides pneumatic energy for the aircraft and is optimized for greater fuel economy

Supplemental Cooling System uniquely integrates the aircraft’s cooling function into one centralized refrigeration system for weight reductions, power savings and reduced maintenance support

Air Conditioning System uses the air provided by APU and Engine systems to efciently generate cabin zone heating and cooling for passenger and crew comfort

Ventilation Systemdistributes cooled air throughout all zones of the aircraft quietly for improved avionics reliability and passenger comfort

Flight Management System offers the latest features and advances to create the Airbus common cockpit

Cabin Pressure Control System automatically controls the cabin pressure based on the aircraft’s ight prole for a comfortable, imperceptible ight experience
