We celebrate Carnival at school every year but this one was going to be a little different.It would be as Patras style!We introduced the country, the city and the festival to our pupils. We made a Power Point and showed it to them.

We decided to celebrate Bourboulia!

8 to 11 years old classes made plaster masks.

When they were ready, we painted and decorated them.

They were finished!

7 year olds made papier mache maks.

6 years old made hats.

3, 4 and 5 years old also made maks:

We made our «Bourboulia» tunics:

On Friday the 28th of February, all school made a parade along the streets of Caldes. We wear a black tunic and our masks. We were ready to celebrate Bourboulia!

We had a really

great time!
