Council for the Inclusion of Migrants (CIM)

Participation, representation and promotion of the views of migrants at local level, by enriching they participation in decision-making processes. Its function is defined by National Law (no.3852/2010) and its fundamental objectives are: a)to incorporate and to encourage migrants to attend and participate in local public life b)to improve or to harmonize relations between the inhabitants of the city and the official bodies of the city

- “TEAM Epsilon” operating since January 2008- Currently has about 650 registered volunteer members of all origins – “open” to all (men & women, with different cultural identity, various academic backgrounds and of all ages)- Management of in a wide range of topics, putting emphasis on sports, social solidarity and culture

New structures were established and operate for the benefit of vulnerable groups of population such as long-term unemployed, elderly, young people, women, facing poverty
