Based on an innovative technology, this new lipid-based reagent achieves extremely efficient DNA delivery into cells. DreamFect™ Gold protects DNA from degradation, forms very small complexes easily internalized by cells and promotes nucleic acid delivery in all cells. DreamFect™ Gold allows high reliable and reproducible transfection efficiency in multiple conditions: cells, amount of DNA, culture conditions, etc.
DreamFect™ Gold has an exceptional capacity to destabilize cell membranes, leading to the delivery of important nucleic acid amounts into the cytosol. Thanks to an improved cytoplasmic release process and a complete biodegradability, DreamFect™ Gold allows achieving very high level of transgene (protein) expression. Consequently, DreamFect™ Gold is the ideal reagent for protein production, biochemistry studies, cellular biology assays, viral production, western blot analysis, immunocytochemistry, microscopy, etc.

DreamFect™ Gold can be used with all types of nucleic acids and allows their delivery in a wide variety
of cell lines and primary cells. Benefit from state-of-the art in transfection and achieve high transfection
efficiency combined with superior transgene expression level.
DreamFect™ Gold is the latest transfection reagent based on the TEE-technology (Triggered Endosomal
Escape) which combines and exploits the properties of cationic lipids and polymers to achieve an extremely
efficient DNA delivery into cells. Because the level of transgene expression matters as well as the transfection
efficiency, OZ Biosciences has developed DreamFect™ Gold, the next powerful generation of lipopolyamines
with improved cytoplasmic release process and complete biodegradability.

High and reproducible transfection efficiency
Fig. 3: Several cell lines (1x105 cells/ well) were transfected with 1 µg of pEGFP or pLacZ plasmid DNA and 4 µL of DreamFect Gold reagent per well in a 24-well plate. EGFP and β-Galactosidase expression were monitored 24 h post-transfection by fluorescence microscopy and X-Gal staining kit (catalog # GX-10003), respectively.
As a ready-to-use and simple reagent, experiment is quickly handled in a 3-steps procedure. Detailed protocols have been developed as well as optimal cell specific applications.
