Dear Family,

Holy Week, the High Holy Days of our Faith are once again upon us. It is going to be a
strange one for sure without being able to worship together in person. But I am convinced with
time to follow the liturgies, their readings, and to reflect on their ultimate meaning, we may find
this to be one of the most powerful Holy Weeks yet. Like with Lent being cut off before the Third
Sunday, we were all made to go deeper, as it were, examining the status of our relationships with
God, with one another, and with ourselves. I saw a meme on social media that humorously but
accurately put it best: “This has been the Lentiest Lent I have ever Lented.”

With that, my dearest family, surely we can also glean many graces and much meaning from this
Holy Week. So let’s follow Jesus together, as a parish community, by praying over the daily
readings, connecting on social media and on the parish website, and joining in prayer with our
families asking that as we faithfully seek to live a friendship with Our Lord, we too will find
ourselves conquerors over sin & death. With all my heart, know I miss you dearly!

In His joy, Fr Daniel
